Jan LOrdered and was charged for a dolley and wasn’t on the truck. Said they would reimburse me but didn’t. Got the truck with 40 miles till empty. Got confusing calls saying my car wasn’t available and to pick up at different location cause not available then it was at original location. Horrible experience and will never use U-Haul again

Dione MMany problems with this experience. Truck reserved wasn’t available at the original place I reserved it so had to travel further to pick up. Location didn’t have the same business hours so I had to wait until they opened to get the truck. Had less than 1/2 tank of gas so couldn’t travel as far without refueling. Also got charge for extra mileage, but since I had to travel further to get the truck my estimated mileage wasn’t correct.
Anthony SI deliver the truck with the same amount or more of gas and I have how to proof.

Jennaca CI was charged more for mileage and was charged for fuel, even though I did fill it up. Very upset Had to call several times to solve the issue, sent pictures proving I was right. Have to wait 72 hrs for any response

Edward KThe guy I spoke with at the service center was really polite and very nice... Unfortunately, the vehicle was filthy. The interior was covered in dust - the seats and steering wheel wear sticky and gross. the windows were so dirty I couldn't see out of them. The entire truck was covered in black dirt. The back cargo area had moving blankets and trash on the floor and the dolly was detached from its holding lock and slamming around inside the cargo area as I drove. I pulled over and reattached the dolly after i heard the slam. I rent Uhauls a few times a year - this is the first time I have ever had a bad experience... I'm sorry to write such a bad review, I do not like being negative. (I have pictures of the vehicle and the grime)

Jordan CThe online check in to retrieve your truck off hours could be faster. I prefilled out everything I could prior to my arrival. Still, I needed to wait almost 10 minutes for my rental to be approved. This seems way too long. When I tried the chat feature, I received no response. I tried to call, and the wait was ten minutes. Approval final came through while I was on hold for a customer service agent.
Bradford FI did not go 20 miles over the allowed mileage, I was not given a receipt at drop off or I would have caught this, but other than that, drop off was very simple.

volkan oMissing the dolly when I went to pick up the truck. Then the U-Haul representative told me to go to a another near by location(2550 Newport Blvd). That location didn’t have the dolly which the representative said they had. Had to drive all the way back to where I originally picked up the truck to get my dolly. I should be compensate for both the gas and the mileage going back and forth.
MOHAMMAD AWhoever was working when I picked up deserves a raise. He was awesome. Took care of me and handled a rude customer that came in right after. Thank you and I will be using UHaul again because of this man.

kevin kOur pick-up time was 10 am and we were running late and got there at noon and the only truck was a 10-footer vs the 15-footer we wanted. Your attendant had the nerve to say, "WE CAN'T RENT YOU A TRUCK WE DONT HAVE." Inappropriate. Practice better customer service skills. And don't rent out a truck that is already reserved.

jerry cThe Ladies in the office are very nice, courteous and helpful my only disappoint is the truck that I rented was one of the old ones the odometer added like 10 miles more because I drove to my storage twice which is 10 miles per way and to Costco for gas in the most case scenario I'd say I'd drove between 50 to 55 miles ( No freeways ) I had to pay for 64 or 65 miles I don't have the contract with me right now but I remember is was to much .. I like do business with U-Haul from now on I only would take very modern vehicles .. seems stores from corporate renew their fleet often over all the independent contractor I used this time was very efficient and helpful .
ANA Gpoorly marked, so very hard to find. No parking makes pickup and dropoff difficult. The staff are wonderful, but often juggling too much.

Robert VGarbage from prior renter was left behind in the drivers and passenger side doors, seats needed to be vacuum, no windshield wiper fluid, the windows were dirty and hard to look through. We could’t use the AC, as there was an awful smell coming through. The steering wheel was sticky.

KAELIN SThe 24/7 self check in didn’t work. I tried calling uhaul’s customer service line because the store wouldn’t open for another 2.5 hours, but was left on hold for a very long time and never ended up talking to anyone. I ended up having to reschedule my move with multiple people for hours later when the store opened. The store worker was helpful but because of uhaul’s defective website and nonexistent phone help, I would never recommend you to anyone. 1/10.
