Give U-Haul businesses to people who know how to run businesses. The dealer over this business was very unprofessional, lied about equipment and had the rudest attitude over the phone. I’ve heard you before this experience I definitely will not do you flash location needs to be investigated for extreme poor customer service, and false advertisement and lies. Messed up my whole moving day

No. No. And No. and it was all ok despite all the problems during pick up, until the final charges appeared and was over double the initial hold amount. Granted I’ll take accountability for being 15 min late to return but that doesn’t justify $110 in additional charges. Let’s get into the pick up: I stood outside in the cold for over 2 hours because the owner of the lot where the uhauls are stored refused to open the gate for me. The police were called on me for “trespassing” the owner of the trucks eventually came and let me out the gate offering 0 resolution other than press charges. Idk what kinda shit show these folks are running

Will never use again this location Was also charged $25 for a truck that was not clean when I picked up, no gas, on empty,. Location was a laundry mar, hard time getting ahold of, then he ask I bring back with 1/2 tank.

I was over charged twice, once for nearly $3100 and the second time $64. The truck was filthy full of blunt wrappers, candy wrappers and the gas was on 13 miles until empty. I returned the truck 23 miles till empty took pictures and I am still fighting a charge for an hr rental. The worst experience ever and I would never rent from these criminals again.

Have an agent on hand. It would make it easier for people who are renting to be more comfortable with having questions answered and being reassured of what is being charged. I didn’t get everything I paid for. I paid for a dolly but there was none. An agent later on assured me I’ll be refunded so hopefully I’ll be.

The person that checked me in over the phone was very rude… not sure of his name because he never gave it to me… he hung up on me and would not answer the phone when I called back to get assistance. I have never had to rent a uhaul so I was confused about how to locate the uhaul with the key. I asked him where would I find the number that was on the key on the truck… his response was “On the side, on the back, everywhere… it’s not rocket science” & proceeded to disconnect the all. I called back several times to ask about a dolly it went straight to voicemail. I called from another phone and he answered… responded to my question and immediately ended the call. The employee answers the phone as of its personal line instead of a business line. The customer service is absolutely horrible and will eventually ruin the business.

The truck reeked of gasoline. My Father and I were lightheaded due to the overwhelming gasoline odor. We had to drive with the windows down to maintain fresh air in the truck. The strong odor became prevalent as we drove to our drop off location. It was worst during periods of heavy traffic. Also, there was a “flat tire” sound coming from the passenger side tire area. I didn’t want to put gas in the truck because I wasn’t feeling well and I wasn’t sure where the leak was coming from. That truck needs to be placed out of service.The location was clean and staff friendly, but the truck was extremely hazardous to our health

I called the Agent at this location and gave explicit detail as to Jonesboro Rd story drop off location. The Agent said to bring it to his location because they both work together. He never told me there would be a drop off fee. I went there and it's a laundromat. I knocked on the door to return the key and ask a question and the gentlemen inside spoke to me through an intercom. He didn't have enough courtesy to come out and give me the instructions since he was available on sight.

I was charged an extra day for accidentally locking the key in the truck, the truck had tire issues the side mirror wasnt functioning properly( moved while driving ) passenger door trim was faulty, it wouldnt allow the door to shut properly.

Clean. The cup holder in the cab was full of ashes, along with a lighter that had been left. The cab smelled like cigarette smoke. Very unpleasant. The floor was dirty as well.

Where do I start? 1) I booked through U-Haul’s website which a complete waste of time because they did not honor any of my requests, 2) U-Haul changed my pick up location which added miles to my trip (further from my house) that I ended having to pay extra for, 3) they changed my drop off time in the system from 4:30 to 12:30 and told me I had to call the 1-800 number to make any changes. After three phone calls, and 20 minutes later, I was able to successfully change my drop off time to the originally requested time, 4) they changed my equipment from a 20 ft truck to a 26 ft truck without my permission (larger truck was more difficult to navigate in my new small neighborhood AND cost me more in gas mileage), 5) they did not provide me the blankets I ordered but was still charged for them, 6) they did not have anyone physically present when I picked up U-Haul, 7) the inside of the cab was very dirty, 8) When I called to ask two questions from the cab of the U-Haul, the employee argued with me about the amount of gas in the truck then hung up on me before I could even ask my second question. When I called back, they did not answer the phone. Worst truck rental experience in my life.

This guy was very adamant about not checking people out . I asked for a receipt because I don’t want to be charged extra without my knowledge He refused so I take video footage of everything Still get charged a extra $40 for cleaning fee and something else They try to hustle you for some extra cash . Charge the price on the front end and do business in a straight forward manner .

Cargo box of the truck has a big gash in the corner that you could see through into the back of the truck. Cab of the truck had ants in it. I complained to the owner he said nothing he could do about it and it happens all the time. I had to drive a 20' truck for the first time while brushing off ants to the nearest WalMart to get Raid! This is unacceptable!!

I did not find it to be a pleasant experience. I booked a small truck on the U-Haul website in the morning. In the afternoon I drove to the location to pick it up. The address was not clearly marked as being a U-Haul dealer on a build. I approached the Laundry Mat facility to ask where the U-Haul dealer is located, the gentleman kindly replied, "here". After asking me for my name, he went into his pocket to retrieve his mobile phone. Then he started scrolling on his phone, he said, "Mr. White, I see you are renting a small truck, would you mind showing me your driver's license?". I gave him my driver's license. Then he scanned the back of my driver's license and asked if another driver could be added to the form. Again, this was "his" phone on which we conducted these transactions. The U-Haul representative past me "his mobile phone". I entered my wife’s name and phone number. This is where things get weird. The U-Haul representative asked for a third name to be added to the form. I asked, "Why are you asking for another name when I have just provided you with the name of my wife as an additional driver?" The U-Haul representative said, “this is just how it is in the hood. I did not create these questions, U-Haul wants to add another person, because if they are unable to locate you or your wife, they have another contact on record that they can contact. I was completely discussed, with this line of conversation and the micro-abuse to a community and business. I said to the U-Haul representative that I gave you a major credit card, my drivers license, my address and my wife’s name and phone number - that should be enough. The U-Haul representative asked, do you still want to rent this truck? I said yes. Unfortunately, the U-Haul representative believes that due to the location of his business, the company forces these types of questions on the form. In my conversation with the U-Haul representative, he believes that if I was renting from another community, I would not have this type of conversation with a U-Haul customer, nor would the application ask for a third name to be included on a form so that U-Haul could contact them if I or my wife are not available. Please fix this it, today. In addition, we did not inspect the truck or walk around it. There was no fuel in the truck, so I had to purchase $20 worth of fuel from a gas station 100 yards away from the U-Haul location before I could begin my journey. I was extremely disappointed in this experience.

Very poor signage and it didn't let you know that the location was unattended. Luckily I found the phone number on the faded note on the outside wall. Person I spoke with was helpful but unfriendly.

Do not rent from these crooks. Charge me $124 for a 17” truck for about 5 hours. When I got it the truck was on Empty (26 miles to empty) but they had the nerve to charge me for fuel. I have always rented from uhaul never have I had such an terrible experience. Nobody is on site so that shouldn’t even be an option to pick. Then charge u a $25 cleaning fee but when I got it there where & still are Ants inside. Oh they really ripping people off!!! I didn’t read the reviews before I went here just choose the closest pick up to my house! Raggedy A$$E$!!!

No one was there for me to pick up my reservation, had to call. My reservation wasn’t filled all the way, meaning I also reserved a dolly and there wasn’t any since the representative wasn’t there. Had to go 30 miles out of my way in order to get one from another uhaul place. Once starting the truck it sounded horrible like the transmission was going to fall. Got the worst gas mileage I’ve ever had when renting from uhaul. The trucks need to be serviced badly

Have them pick up from where they are set up to pick up from. Make sure you have the storage size available that they reserved and don’t charge them cleaning fees when there is nothing to clean I have video I was also charged extra for fuel when I put it back to where it started I have never had such bad service for uhaul

We got to this location no one was there, had to call for key. Order a pulley with straps paid for it and nothing in the truck. Left without one. Get to storage area with reservation. They had nothing available, they send me 3 miles out the way. Also I had to pay for first month, told U-Haul doesn't give 1 month free.. when ordering on line, I was told first month free. Second location paid, place clean, worker great. No free moth. It was a stressful moving day.☹️

Owner/managers of location double booked an appointment for the same sized truck with another customer & attempted to have me pick up vehicle the evening before the appointment time by "offering" me a early pick up as opposed to saying they accidentally made a mistake.

The back of the truck was clean, however the cab was full of garbage, crumbs all over the seats and floor, and the cup holders were all filled with sticky residue and grime. Furthermore, I had ordered a furniture dolly, a utility dolly, and 12 furniture pads. Upon arrival, the owner of the establishment verified my ID via a link and said he'd meet me in 5 minutes at the entrance. He took 20 minutes to arrive, went inside, and then exited 10 minutes later with a furniture dolly and a utility dolly. I inquired about the furniture pads and he said he didn't have any but I could drive to either of 2 other locations nearby to see if they had any. At that point due to his tardiness, and my movers already enroute to load the truck, I didn't have the time nor patience to deal with the owners negligence in providing proper customer service. I've NEVER had an issue with Uhaul, but also have not had to deal with a 3rd party provider and nor will I ever again. It's apparent Domontra is merely in it for the money and takes no responsibility in providing proper customer service or maintaining Uhaul's equipment.

The worst experience a U-Haul ever I lost money because I have movers that I ran it through U-Haul the dolly was not on the truck the hood guy came out and hand me the keys to the truck and now they’re trying to charge me $327 saying that I came back the next day when I only had it for three hours and I use the location when I check back in I would never in my life for this location for anyone ever or use U-Haul ever again I lost money and now they’re about to overcharge my account I had to rent 3 uhaul and this was the Worst EVER

I flew from Omaha to Atlanta and then drove back to Omaha. I have probably rented 4 uhauls this year. I had reserved this U-Haul weeks in advance. If I didn't have such a tight schedule I would not have run it this you all at all. It was very dirty and smelled like smoke. I'm pretty upset and even got the u-haul back to Omaha 4 days earlier than anticipated

Not rent from Domontra period! Stop charging fraudulent fees. My contract was signed around 615, however I had to wait on some man to meet me with the keys. Did not actually take possession of the truck till around 6:45. Return the truck back around 6:30 to the key guy and was charged for 2-days. But no compensation for me waiting 30 mins for the key guy. Then they added insurance which I had declined, glad I looked over my receipt. Not only that, they charge $25 cleaning fee for 2 baby leaves and a small amount of white debris that they probably could have blown off the truck with their breath. I have never seen anyone so desperate for a dollar or 20% of a sale ( mr key guy)! I Will make a report with BBB if the fraudulent are not removed and reimburse!

The truck provided had a pants belt, a waffle fry, and paper waste in the drivers area. The larger issue is that the passenger side mirror was completely loose and would turn upon any momentum change. This is a major safety issue. It is unfortunate that I was a little over an hour late on returning my vehicle, but this line item price should be discounted due to my safety being compromised by faulty uhaul equipment.

Due to the request all of the equipment was not available. The location should only be used for local rental. Long distance rental the equipment I requested was not there, no one took the time to assist me. The reservation was c hanged multiple times and no communication the service over all was horrible. The Tampa location gave me superior service. Which I should have had in Georgia

When I went into the Laundry Mat where the Truck was to be Dropped-off, the guy didn't inform me that I should leave the key in the U-Haul Box and he would check it in later. There were two other Trucks parked there so I parked in between them. I returned the Truck clean, but I was charged for returning the TRUCK dirty! To improve service for the next customer: Let the customer return the rental to a U-Haul company store an issues a receipt for the returned condition !
