This bike rack carries up to four bikes. This rack includes a hitch ball mount that can tow up to 2,000 lbs. The anti-sway soft rubber cradles prevent any bike-to-bike contact and hold the bikes safely and securely. This rack also has the ability to tilt down so that the rear of the vehicle is still accessible while bikes are being towed.

  • Fits 2” hitch recievers only
  • Carrying Capacity: 4 bikes
  • Max Weight: 180 lbs.
  • Corrosion resistant granite gray finish
  • Locking kit available

It was not made clear when I ordered that this item was refurbished/returned (which should have been offered at a discount, if at all). When I opened the package, it was scratched, had dirt on it (GROSS) where bikes had been hung previously; and when installed on my car is very rickety and unsafe. For nearly $200, this is unacceptable.

Rack with hitch is great but, I use to pull a pop up tent trailer, if more then 2 bikes, sharp turns will damage bikes #3 and 4. wheecarefull,

Does it work with hitch 78280?

Hitch 78280 has a 2" receiver. Bike rack SR2414 fits hitches with a 2" receiver. So yes, this rack will work with this hitch.
