Customer reviews Mirror / Picture Box

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars

Work well, but would like to have option for a double-thick version of this box. Also, would be helpful to have a note on the box ordering site regarding how much the foam corners (if purchased) will add to the overall dimensions, when installed.

I wish there were different sizes to choose from - they can hold more than 1 picture, however

I purchased a couple of these boxes to store some of my framed pictures/artwork in, for longer-term storage... Unfortunately, I've looked around and I can't seem to find a more appropriate, sturdier box or case to do so in. Anyway, for as much money as these boxes cost (-and I realize the prices are relative to people's individual budgets), I think the quality of the box material is quite thin and flimsy to hold such large and heavy cargo. The styrofoam corner pieces are also pretty cheap and don't fit very well over several framed corner edges, as the ad for these boxes would suggest. And, as most people have already written in these reviews, the cinching strap is hard to figure out and tighten up well. I ended up using some tape to hold it a bit tighter in place. I'm surprised that so many people found these boxes to work so well when shipping their items in them! -I would be QUITE nervous to ship anything breakable in them! I just think that U-Haul could bulk these boxes up a bit more with thicker cardboard and maybe even give them a waxy coating (like that of fruit-shipping boxes) in order to better-protect artwork and other valuable items that customers might store/ship in them... I would pay
