U-Haul offers 30 days of free storage to people affected by natural disasters, such as hurricanes, tornados, floods, etc. at participating U-Haul self-storage facilities on an as-available basis.

We believe in helping our neighbors who desperately need to evacuate or take items out of their homes while they put their lives back together. U-Haul is an integral part of each community we serve. We were built by the same people who are affected by natural disasters, and are proud to be able to give something back to the community during a time of need.

U-Haul employees displaced by natural disasters

U-Haul employees who have been displaced by natural disasters, such as hurricanes, tornados, floods, etc. should contact their supervisors, a local U-Haul Center, or contact U-Haul Human Resources by phone at 1-800-528-0463, ext. 6625, or by e-mail at humanresources@uhaul.com.

We will need your name, present location, an update on your status regarding a return to the area, if you need assistance and, if possible, and a way to get in touch with you. Even if you do not plan to return to work, please contact us so we know you are OK. Thank you.

U-Haul is encouraging customers in effected areas to call or visit their U-Haul storage place as soon as possible to ensure all contact and emergency contact information is current and your possessions are secure. U-Haul will update this website as more information becomes available.

Where can I return my rental equipment?

Where can I pick up equipment?
