Make eye contact with your customers,when dropping off vehicles make process a lot faster maybe have more people working that way customers don't have to wait so long to return equipment

I believe Uhaul charges just a bit too much for the higher mileage users. The people at this location did not do anything wrong and I was given some extra time to return my vehicle yet I am dissatisfied for paying $83 for a vehicle I used in the local city limits and how much larger the charge was than the estimate. I understand Uhaul wanting to make a profit but theres profit and theres fee gouging and I beileve it is fee gouging to charge someone for miles and make them put their own gas in the vehicle and clean the vehicle (which is an understandable request but should not be enforced by a fine.) I believe overall Uhaul is not the worst but is one of the worst on money gouging. I believe Uhal would do better to set a maximum charge threshhold like enterprise so you really know what you are getting yourself into. This is not the first surprise from Uhaul I have had but this location is a lot better than the Uhaul of Lakewood.

The gentleman who worked with us was extremely rude and had the worst customer service I have seen in years. He was of a larger built, wore glasses, and had a bald head. Me and my wife waited at the front desk for nearly 20 mins before anyone talked to us. He walked by us a couple times before ever saying a word. He seemed to hate his job and hardly ever made eye contact with me. Seriously it was all me and my wife could talk about all day to family and friends. If I ever do need a uhual truck I will avoid that gentlemen and the 96th street location. I ussally do not write reviews, but please give that man some customer service lessons.

the truck I had was not the one on my contract and where I did drop off told me that? and took extra time to try to figure out what the pick location screwed up and also mileage I think was for the truck I was supposed to get any how I will use you to finish moving but in future I will check contract to match the truck to save time on the other end.

We reserved a 10' truck. Got there and were given a cargo van. Employee tried to tell us over and over that that was what we had reserved. I showed them our email confirmation and they IMMEDIATELY told us that 'our' truck had been returned to a different location, about 30 miles away, so we could have the van. Which told us they KNEW the whole time that 'our' truck wasn't there. We said No...we wanted what we'd reserved and asked if they could get it to us. They said No and repeatedly said 'Sorry. It's not available' There were NUMEROUS trucks in the lot that they said were 'one way' trucks, We needed a truck for about 2 hours for one trip a total of maybe 6 miles. They wouldn't let us use one of those. We had a hard time getting our stuff into the van and it took three trips. It took us about 5 hours.
We feel like we should be partially credited for the inconvenience. It was a ridiculous situation and completely unacceptable.

At the time of the initial rental, he U Haul employee was informed the truck would be needed for two days.48 hrs. The next day I checked the rental agreement to verify, and saw the rental was for only one day. U Haul customer service was then contacted and another day was added. This was but a minor inconvenience, but could have been avoided.
There was also pre existing damage to the truck. I wasn't verbally informed of it, but it was noted on the back of the safemove form.
Ive rented from U Haul before, and the service was better in the past.

I am waiting on the manager to call me, but I was charged $22 for the damage insurance. Not a single thing I see or signed for says it is $11 a day for the coverage. I have never paid it daily in the past but the people working at the U-Haul center sunday late afternoon did not agree with me. In the last 7 years, we have rented from this location (several times a year) for our business and not one time do I remember seeing a daily charge. Think about it, the average person would pay $50 a month for insurance of their own car, Why would ANYONE pay $22 for 2 days? Especially someone like me that has a perfect driving record for 30+ years. I only get the coverage because other people may damage the rental.

The service was fine. I thought it was odd that the rep couldn't come up with an exact drop-off location when departing. The rep had to print out drop-off locations off of the Internet. The vehicle was practically new, which was nice and made the drive a lot easier. First time experience, overall, was satisfactory.

Nothing. The customer service was great from everyone on the staff that I worked with. Coming from the medical industry where customer service is extremely important it was refreshing to see an entire team being so easy to work with. They made this move a lot easier on us because we didn't have to worry about that piece
