They double charged me for a one way rental. The charge was $436.90 We paid exact cash of $436.90 and they also charged my credit card $436.90. And no one will help be to resolve this matter

I told the girl that the gas needle was sitting just above the full line and she didn't seem to care. I feel I had to put more gas in it then I should have to avoid the the extra charge.

I believe the woman who waited on us at Sunoco was Ann H, and she does a wonderful job. I was, however, very disatisfied with the cost. We had your truck in our possession for 3 1/2 hours and it cost $67.85 (which I expected) and an additional $18.00 for gasoline. I was never told that I could save money by renting Mon-Thur nor was I told that I would have to pay for gas. I thought the 99 cents a mile was due to the cost of gasoline. Also, when I picked up the truck I was told I needed to return it by 8 am because they had another customer. When I was given the quote I was told I could keep it until 5 pm. The truck advertises $19.95 and frankly that is what I expected to pay. The truck does say there are fees but nowhere did the truck advertise having to pay for gas. I feel like I was deceived. I would have shopped around had I know I was going to pay $85.85 for 3 1/2 hours. Home Depot charges $19.99 for the first hour and $10 for any additional hours plus gasoline. Assuming the gas charges where the same . . . I would have paid $58.00 including gas plus tax. When a quote is made, all the information should be given related to charges. I checked my credit card and have not yet been charged for the rental but I have been charged for the gasoline. I would appreciate it if you would consider a REBATE! Thank you

The location is fine if you simply want a truck. However, their trailers and transports are across the street and I was offered no assistance getting or hitching the trailer.

Awful! Had the truck less than 12 hours and because I rented after the business hours I got charged an additional day, an additional day of coverage and of course a little more for Uncle Sam. I called the location to despute these additional charges and they said there was nothing they could do, I would have to despute cost with customer service. Once I called customer service it took about twenty minutes to explain that I didn't even have the truck for twelve hours, which is just a one day charge. Finally getting point acrossed, customer service said they weren't allowed to take any charges off but they could call the location themselves and solve the issue; on Tuesday because of the holiday and then it would take 3 - 5 business days to show back in my account. I guess I would understand better if I worked in the same industry? Well, it just so happens I do work in the same industry! I know how "delayed check-ins" work when a customer drops off a vehicle after hours. I maked my return time, my mileage, my fuel level and dropped it all in their drop box. So, me as a customer, I took extra steps out of my time to make things just a tad bit smoother for the opener coming in who has to check in all of the overnight drop offs. I understand the business, very well. I don't understand the laziness and pure ignorance of not doing your job! Second issue was the interesting game you have to play booked a truck online. It makes you check availability for the location you are booking for from the start time to the end time but once you book the reservation everything changes. For instance, I picked a locations less than 2 miles from my house, had availability for a 26' truck, and selected it for noon to noon. It said my reservation was successful, then I got the text notification. The reservation ended up going through for a location 16 miles from my house ($.99 a mile) and it booked me for 8am to 6pm. So, not only did I have to pay for an additional $28 plus taxes but now I had to leave work 4 hours earlier then anticipated. Something my superiors stress and have me stress to others is "recovery". The final impressions gives the lasting impression and it is potentially the last chance with the customer that has been inconvienced in some way that they would potentially decide to pay a little more next rental in order to not have the inconviences. So, how are you going to recover?

The van was disgusting to say the absolute least. It smelled like farm animals and feces. I'm also fairly certain that there actually WAS feces in the grooves in the mat in the back of the van. Also, this location is part of what appears to be a fairly-busy gas station. The problem with this is that, when I returned the van, the girl behind the counter was the only employee there, so she would ask me a question, take a customer for the gas station services, ask me the same question, take a customer for the gas station services, etc. This resulted in her forgetting that I mentioned that I'd ordered a furniture dolly but didn't receive one and charging my card for the full cost. She was preoccupied, so she didn't actually look to see what I was charged, and it turned out that the dolly wasn't charged. So, she had to credit my card and then charge it again. When it was all said and done, I waited probably 30 minutes when I was returning the van. Never again.

Just to get a discount we had to take the uhaul 25 miles out of our way to drop it off. When there was a uhaul drop off 2 minutes away. Prob cost us more in gas.

Had to wait over an hour to get my truck because the "system was down" even though I was the first pick-up of the day. I was told to leave and come back when they called me. When I returned my truck, was told I had to refill the gas tank (I knew I had to) but I went 13 miles and the truck took 5 gallons, meaning they gave me a gas tank that wasn't full and made me fill it. I will use Penske or someone else next time.

This location had my 17'uhaul. After I got to the sto-rox facility and found out my reservation was NOT ready and I had to call around to find myself another one, drive further, and pay more gas. Was hardly worth the 50$ discount. Wont be using uhaul again.
