The counter service when I was picking up the truck was not good at all - there was a fairly long line, and really only one person working at the counter (another came and went a lot, but didn't seem to help much, if at all). I rent from U-Haul regularly - about twice every three months - and I wish there was a streamlined way to do the checkout besides waiting in line for so long! Also, I put in a lot of information on the on-line rental form, and was told that none of it transferred to the local U-Haul office (though it has in the past), so I had to provide it all again. I think this is user error more than computer error. You've had great counter help in the past (a couple of very nice young ladies, with a great positive attitude) - it's too bad they're gone!

I last rented from this location several years ago and was expecting a slow check-out process. Much to my surprise, the check-out was quick, easy and professional and I was on my way in minutes. Well Done!! What a difference a few years make.

The location always has my desired selection. There is always a longer than seems necessary wait when picking up; however, the drop-off goes quickly and the staff is friendly.

manager jumped in to help when desk clerk was busy with others, willing to answer all questions, no hassle return, trailer worked well, website was easy to use to understand dimensions. To save ME money, I'd like to know if there were one way options available where UHaul wanted a trailer returned from where I was going to where I live...

The transmission on the truck was terrible - could barely get it up to highway speed. Had to countersteer the whold drive and it was already quite windy. The truck and pads were dirty. Tried to charge us for using the hand truck - that we did not use and the tie was not broke. Door on drivers side did not close all the way. We have used this location 4 times in the last 6 mo - this is the first time we had a problem so I would still recommend it but if it was my first time there I wouldn't go back. They did refund $45 of our money - but I'm still debating on disputing the charges because of the number of problems we had.

My guaranteed reservation was at the 1500 S. 1st ST location. They rented out the trailer while I was standing there. Then the trailer was located at the location listed above. So I would make sure the lug nuts are tight, so that the wheel doesn't fall off.
Then that same tire has a blow out 250 miles later.
2 of the remaining tires were cracked and also needed to be changed.

Truck almost broke down and in very poor condition. It makes no sense to us that we live near a U Haul in Germantown, but were forced to drive all the way to 76th and good hope for the truck. Guess thats how u haul makes its money. Never again will I use your services.
