Actually, I can't imagine abetter service experience. I reserved a truck, arrived to pick it up and was in and out in 15 minutes. Upon return the same was true. In addition, the facility was spotless and well organized.

The truck was clean, but felt unsafe to drive. The gears shifted very slowly, and the entire cab shook violently at times. The air conditioning went out repeatedly, and the padlock on the cab was difficult to open. The customer service was very good, however, which partially made up for the shotty equipment.

It's unclear where to leave the vehicle if you're dropping off after hours. I'd recommend better signage and definitely better lighting outside. It was a little creepy and too dark to see the key drop-off area.

The trailer was dirty and i needed to clean it before i could load it. Also on Sunday mornings this location is understaffed with an average of a half hour wait time in line just to talk with someone at the counter.

Well there should be a bell to signal for a customer service representative because I was waiting a good maybe 10 mins before someone actuay showed up to assist me. Even then I wasn't too pleased with his customer service because the cashier spoke really fast and almost mumbling under his breath and kind of rushed me with the process when there was only one more man behind me and he was just buying a couple of boxes. So maybe for future customers a signal or some sort to get an employees attention and a little more courteous to the customer.

I reserved a 24' truck and was called the day before pickup at approx. 4:00pm to say they made a mistake. It was not available. I asked if I could get a 10' and a 14" for the same price and was told know. I had to move the next day so I had no choice. I will not use UHaul in the future. And I will tell my experience to all I know.

I rented a 24' van to move. I was unable to drive over 50 mph do to the violent shacking the truck would do. Also the a/c would not work. When I returned the truck I told the manager Joshua Beath the Truck was unsafe to drive. I waited for him to ask me what was wrong, wich he didn't . I had tell him the truck shook so bad any thing over 50 mph. All he could say is they all drive that way. I asked him if they ever tell customers you will not be able to drive 55 safely. He said no. I will never go back to this rental place,as long as that is the manager attitude for the safety of the equipment. Safety should be the most important thing for the customer not the money

Riverside was great. The first place i was to pick up the trailer is pathetic. Call me at 945 and tell me they couldn't be there untill 1:30 even with a 1000 reservation..Riverside stepped up and fixed the problem.

I asked for a motorcycle trailer. I was given a 9X5 trailer at a higher cost. I had to hook the trailer up myself. I had to disconnect the trailer myself. They sent an untrained employee out to do the job.....not good. He was clueless. The manager should be fired for not offering me the same price for the trailer and not taking the time to train HIS employee. Plain and simple.

The rental rate was slightly more than what I remembered from last year, but that's life It happens. Otherwise it was excellent. The people at the counter were well dressed and knew what they were doing, and the same for the people in the lot. I forgot me hitch ball, and it was no problem for them to wait 15-20 minutes for me to go home and get it. This is a really great dealership, it's the third time I've traded there.

On your website about vehicle specs/sizes you are showing only the extreme interior dimensions. You should also show the minimum (like allowing for wheel wells for example.) It makes a big difference in trying to fit the load into the vehicle that is selected/rented.

I am very upset with our experience with your company. I drove 45 minutes to the Jurupa location in traffic on a Friday afternoon because I had reservations at 430 to pick up a 24ft truck, as I was about to pull up I recieved a phone call saying they no longer had a truck available. Instead of trying to help me figure it out they basically said I don't know what to tell you, we only have 14 ft. I called traffic control 2 times, explained my situation and was put on hold and they never clicked back over to help me again by both girls. One girl actually had the adasity to say "well you did make the reservations last minute earlier today so..." Insinuating that my time was not valuable and it didn't matter that I wasted another few hours out of my day, driving to a different city and being on hold all of that time. I called back and got through to a supervisor in San Bernidino that was very helpful and considerate and helped me with arrangements for 2 days later. I had to completely change my arrangements because of this mess and I was very disappointed in the way I was originally treated and the carelessness of 3 of your Uhaul staff members.

U-Haul of Riverside, CA. The new fuel policy is not good and poorly communicated to customers. I received a vehicle with 1/8 tank of fuel, which is ok. I was told to return it with 1/8 tank, but if I added more than I used, I would be refunded the difference at a pre-determined price/gal - again ok. But I was not. The representative at the store told me I did not put in enough fuel to receive the refund. I added fuel to make the tank approx. 3/16 full. But in order to receive the fuel refund I needed to make the tank 4/16 (1/4) full. This was never explained to me - only if I added more fuel I would get a credit for what I added past the original amount. If gasoline was not ~$4/gal it might not be such an issue, but several gallons adds up to more than just a few dollars. This new policy has the look and feel of a racket in U-Haul's favor. Better to return to a full tank on pick-up and a full tank upon return. Or fix the amount such that any amount over pick-up volume gets a refund, no need to have trigger points. Until the policy is fixed or better understood/communicated by employees to the customers, watch out, you may be paying for fuel on U-Haul's benefit.
