Dear U-haul, On Sept 9th I rented a truck from Maple Building Design Inc. 6669 Main Street, Vancouver. Asit helped me with documentation (contract 13701934) and the rental. I told him I needed the truck for 2 days but for some reason he wrote the contract up for 2 days + 1 hour (very strange). I asked him why the extra hour and he said if I bring it back in 2 days he will not charge me the extra hour?! Once I finished my move and filled the truck with $15 worth of gas a few blocks before the u-haul office, my trip was 21 miles. This left the gas gauge in the exact position where it was when I picked up the truck. I dropped the truck off at the office which was closed. I called Asit and told him I filled the gas a few blocks away and to the exact same position when I picked it up. Unfortunately, I was charged $20 for gas! I texted Asit asking him to reverse this charge. He said he didn't do it but u-haul head office did it and they will reverse it as it was a mistake but it will take a few days. After a week past by nothing was adjusted on my credit card. I called and text Asit with no response. I have photos of the gas gauge, receipt of gas purchased and documented the whole interaction with Asit. Please advise. Kindest regards, Glen Saito

could you check if there is administrative error? whenever i rented a car, i would never buy insurance coverage since i have a road star and credit card insurance coverage where is that CDW $16 coming from? is that mandatory? Please return the $16 plus taxes thank you
lynne kimI would hesitate to recommend uHaul. I drove 13km. I put 9litres of gas into the truck. UHaul then charged me $26.23 for another 13 litres. I let uHaul know immediately and I have not heard back after 2days. For a business with a reputation like uHaul, this is unacceptable and unbelievable.
Geofferey AinsworthDespite the estimated cost didn't show service charge even though I entered the period when I would have used, the service charge was charged. Also there wasn't explanation about the service charge and how to return the vehicle at the rental office. I wasn't sure how to use this service because it was first time to use this. It wasn't great experience. I don't want to use this anymore.
