If someone asks for the manager, there should be one present. The only employee that was working that day told us he had been working there for 2 weeks and replied "I don't know" to every question I asked. He proceeded to hook up the auto transport to the back of my uhaul, he then instructed me to drive up on it. After instructing me to do so, he proceeded to walk away and go back into the store. I began driving my vehicle onto the trailer and the hitch disengages causing my vehicle to slam to the ground and the trailer hitch to slam into the back of the uhaul causing a large dent/ scrape. After waiting in line, again, he came out and reattached the trailer and this time stayed while I drove onto it. Success. Now comes the time to strap the car down. The employee working tells me, "I don't know how to do it, he'll strap it down for you" and began walking away. He was referring to one of the locals who stand on the side and ask you if they can help with loading your truck for cash. This person was not affiliated with the company. Needless to say I was not happy hearing this. I told the employee I was not comfortable with this and that he should do it because he works there. He again replied with, "I don't know how to do it, he does." The beggar proceeded to strap my car down and then I was on my way. Because of this atrocious experience I didn't feel very safe traveling 2,000 miles hauling my car that was strapped down by some random person on the street. I stopped at a separate uhaul location near by to have them double check to make sure everything was ready to go. They informed me it was. And then part of the way into my trip a police officer informed me that something was wrong with the trailer. So then I had my THIRD stop at a uhaul location where they replaced two faulty tires. This was all around an awful experience.

I was given a truck which had a missing tire tread with a buble on it which made my ride bumpy, unstable and dangerous on the freeway. I had to call a roadside assistant to replace the tire. Didnt get any compensation when asked, although I often use u haul for my business transportation. The stuff needs to inspect trucks after every client to make sure it's in a good working condition.

I returned the Uhaul just before they closed at 5pm Sunday. Because of this I did not get to fill up the 1.5 gallons I used (only drove 19 miles). The attendant was in his first week and did not know the amount of the service fee. I had no idea that 1.5 gallons was going to cost me over $40 until I checked my bank account. The $30 service fee is ridiculous especially when there is a gas station across the street

Keep those day labors off their property they are gangster mine would not get out of the truck I paid him $12 per hour but he wanted a full hundred for the day I wondered why he did not ask ''how much you pay?'' I had to walk around and tell him ''to get the f$$k out of the truck'' he called me greedy wonder were he got that word from?

this was the worst experience and this uhaul location should be ashamed of itself. They had one person working and 7 customers in line waiting for close to an hour. The worker was doing the best he could as fast as he could but there should not have been only one person working during the busiest time of the month.

These guys were "AWESOME", it was a great experience all the way through it, they explained everything in detail before I left, were most helpful with all my questions and got me off to a FAB start, and quickly took care of me when I returned, I will absolutely be back, You give those young men my personal Thanks for the "AWESOME SERVICE" !!!!!!!

I reserved my storage online and when I got the storage it's not what I expected the storage has a big box inside that didn't even let half of my stuff fit.. The lady that help me was so rude and could even help me with my problem

When I got the truck , it smelled really bad and I found Cigarette buds inside the ashtray . The truck was very dirty and poor maintained . It smelled so bad that I had to roll down the windows the entire time. Also the front turn single wasn't working . I spoke to Guz, the store manager and I complained about the matter and he started laughing and said "bro this is not a limo , it's a working truck !" I got very upset by his statement and this is one of the few times that I had issues with the trucks at that location . I told him that you need to check the trucks before handing over to the customers . GUZ might be a nice person but he needs to listen too the customers more not just only his point of views and he also needs to trust the customers statements because he clearly said it too me that he doesn't trust any customers statements because he doesn't know them! Again I don't want anyone to get in trouble but take customers statements seriously . Thank you again You can cantact me if need . Marouj M.

I am very dissatisfied with the system uHaul used to give confirmations. the online confirmation I received gave me the wrong location to pick up my truck. I went to the address given to me, and it was incorrect and I had to call UHaul to get the correct location, wasting precious time and risked losing my truck by being late. This compounded the normal stress that moving causes, and was extreme in my case, since I have an anxiety disorder. I think an apology from your company is in order.

The personnel were helpful and easy to deal with, but the sign said "Wait here and a customer service representative will assist you." After 5 minutes I came in. If I'd waited until someone checked outside, I would have died of heat stroke in my car. Boxes inside blocked the cashier's view, but, well, then you check more frequently. Otherwise, the check-in process was painless. Oh, yeah. The cashier sold me packing tape, but didn't hand it back over the counter to me. With the form-signing and check-in, I forgot about it and so did he. A nice, pleasant guy and he got all the paperwork right, I just think a little more attention to detail would be nice.

When we needed to keep the truck over 30 days, we had to drive back to the site, over 50 miles round trip, to renew our contract. 50 miles on a Los Angeles freeway!!! They renewed our contract over the phone but still had to drive to the Burbank airport for the employee to walk out the door, walk around the truck, check the mileage and say everything looks ok. Why we were not allowed to give them the mileage over the phone since we were keeping the same vehicle for two more weeks we don't understand. They had our credit card info and our cell numbers, seems like they could have made it a little easier. Bad policy in our opinion!!

Had to get a second truck due to the side mirrors not being movable or functional on the first one. Check in was very slow. After waiting several minutes, a second worker did try to help, butl did not know how to operate the computer.
