while the employees did their best, reservations were overbooked and some people didn't get their truck they reserved. i feel sorry for the employees who have to put up with the angry customers that were caused by a lousy reservation system. I would not use U-haul on the weekend again.

The person at the checkout counter was rude, and turned over a truck that was dirty inside the cab. The truck also came with just under half a tank of gas. I understand that it's U-Haul's policy to allow people to return the truck with the same fuel level they received it, but the last thing I was needing to worry about while moving was stopping to put gas in the truck. Paired with the lack of courtesy from the clerk, it was a negative experience.

I didn't wind up using one of the bags of mats and was still charged for it. I think it would make sense (since the bag wasn't opened) to allow customers to return unused items and not have to pay.

This place is understaffed. I saw customers leaving because the wait was so long. At least the people who do work there are competent, I had a very skilled employee reverse some accidental charges to my credit card.

Frank, the employee who helped me, was outstanding. He was knowledgeable, smart, flexible, and gave wonderful advice to a first-time Uhaul user. Despite the fact that I showed up 10 minutes before closing, Frank took his time and made sure I knew everything I needed before I left. I would recommend this Uhaul 100% and cannot say enough about Frank's customer service and expertise.

I rented a Utility Dolly for $10 online. When i asked the person in charge about it... he said it would be inside the vehicle. But it wasn't. Not only i had the discomfort of moving my luggage without a dolly, i get the refund of $10. worst customer service. Also, i booked my u haul at Newark. But got it at mountain view- 20 miles away... waste of fuel and time.

Under staffed, not have equipment needed to allow me to use trailer I reserved (adapter for electrical hookup), I had to use MUCH MORE EXPENSIVE option. Long wait for service though the individuals were very helpful when they were helping me. I would rate the personnel highly. My previous experiences with this location have been universally unsatisfactory. I called every other Uhaul outlet within 10 miles before I reluctantly used this one.

Perhaps. Customer Service not very friendly for the first call. So I made reservation on the web, checked in, and it was really smooth and easy. Return was simple too, and thanks to the gentleman who worked there on that Tuesday afternoon (8/5). Appreciated his work.

I found the staff totally confused, rushing to get things done. They overcharged me by $43.50. Then they re-imbursed me the $43.50 but I have only received $19.95 so far. The manager is to call back. Customer demand greatly exceeds this location's ability to manage workload in a timely fashion. I waited 40 minutes to pick up a reserved vehicle -- unacceptable. Your process should give priority to customers with reservations and you should staff the location to support demand.

This location is managed terribly. Inefficient process makes for unhappy customers and staff unable to help customers quickly. Staff was very nice. Management: there are numerous reviews with the same complaint. This is not sustainable.

The truck had 2 bad tires, and one of them broke in the middle of the highway. Not only a safety problem, but also show the kind of care you have on those trucks.
