The drop-off box was difficult to locate. It sits on a tree away from the building. Had to circle the building twice trying to find the box. Please place the d/o box on/near the entrance of the building

Place to drop off was extremely difficult to locate. There was no Office or person to talk to. Just a box bolted on a pole. Really,...., this is how you run a business?

This was a horrible experience. The personnel work as contract movers during the day so trying to contact them is difficult. The office is empty and unlocked most of the time and transactions are handled via phone, not in person. The contact phone requires you to leave a voice message that they answer at their convenience. I had to get two additional numbers that they screen in order to confirm my pick-up time. This location gives U-Haul a bad reputation.

The truck ran fine. The back of the truck was not clean. There was no one at the location at time of pick up. The key was left on the desk and I had to call with license and CC info. Very unprofessional. I was told the contract would be e-mailed to me that day. I never got it. When we got to the truck the gas gauge was one bar above empty. We put 37 gallons into the tank that still didn't fill it, but the gas pump automatically shut off at $100. I called the 800 number to complain. The next day I received a $25 GC for future Uhaul use, but still hadn't received the contract. I responded to the person who sent the GC and they got the contract to me. I was shocked when it had recorded that the tank was 3/8 full at time of receipt. I called the 800 number again to complain and while they were very nice while on hold the call got dropped. I have rented alot of Uhaul equipment in the past and will probably continue to in the future, but NEVER again from this location.

No one was in the office when I arrived. Waited about 20 - 25 min before someone arrived. Also, there was some confusion about the time of drop off. OTM email stated that it needed to be dropped off in Ruckersville by 10:00 a.m. on 6/13. When I called the 888# regarding directions to the drop off location, the operator informed me that it should have been returned by 10:30 a.m. on 6/12, and insisted on charging me for an extra day. After much discussion, they finally looked at OTM's original e-mail , spoke to a manager, then agreed to drop the extra charge and allow me drop it off on 6/13 as originally planned

the front building door was locked because it was a holiday, a side door was open, I pointed this out to your clerk who showed no emotion to resolve it, he shrugged it off like oh well let folks figure it out.....

Hours were listed as 8:30-4:30. My husband and I took off work to return the vehicle. No one was at the office. We called the number and was told to drop the key off in the lock box, which was difficult to find. We did not receive our $25 refund for returning a clean vehicle.

I had difficulties the morning I was trying to pick up he truck and had a hard time reaching the office. When we picked up the truck even though I had filled out the express check in because of our time constraints I was still there for a half and hour which defeated the purpose of the express check in. The truck I received was awful the engine was missing and backfiring constantly. It was unsafe to drive as when I pressed the gas the truck didn't want to move therefore pulling into traffic was a terrifying experience as I had to move that day and was told they were overvbooked I knew there was no chance of getting a new truck so I had no choice but to use it the trucks if being maintained properly would never have been this bad. Also I have rented several trucks from uhaul over the last few years so I am aware of how they should run as well as an average expectation of how much gas it should use (I have also been a mechanic for 40 years) this truck got less than 3 miles per gallon which is beyond ridiculous so it cost a fortune in gas which I had to put in once during the move as well as before I returned it keep in mind I only traveled 52 miles. When I then called in the next morning to let the office know of the problems and the fact the truck was infact unsafe the person who answered the phone didn't ask for my name or info and was ready to end the call with a we will check it! We how can you check it if you don't even know which truck so I pointed it out and gave the info and was told ok thanks for letting us know we will make sure it's checked before it goes out again. Well I know that was a bs statement as 20 minutes later when I was passing the lot I watched the attendant give get out and 2 people get in and they had a car following them out of the lot they had just rented it and it was leaving the lot. There were 3 other trucks the exact same size sitting there but they chose to let someone else drive it after being told it was unsafe. No I would not rent from this location again and possibly not uhaul again.

Worst experience I have ever had. First I showed up at 10am to get my truck...NOBODY WAS THERE. The door to the office was open but nobody was inside. I called their number, which must've been a cell phone and they said they were out of the office and to just walk into the managers office and GET THE KEYS MYSELF!?!?!?! ARE YOU KIDDING?!?!?? After that I went to the truck I rented, oh yeh the two dollys and dozen blankets I reserved weren't there either. As I drive away I realized two things. First, MY TANK IS EMPTY and second there is an empty can of some sort rolling around the passenger side (a red bull). The final cherry is that they charged me for driving almost 500 miles in three hours. I'm still fighting with them to get my money back. Nobody is there to give you keys but they will take your keys out of the drop box and over charge you for driving 160mph if you are in the military. Uhaul. I will proactively make other service members use your competitors. WORST SERVICE EVER. Give me my money back.
