Work at home programs

E-Agent

Customer Service E-Agents assist customers from the comfort of their homes. There is a real reduction in traffic congestion, parking, utilities, waste and emissions.

The program allows for a broadening of the workforce and assistance to specific populations such as military families, stay-at-home parents, students, moonlighters and the disabled.

Stockholder proxy materials online

U-Haul parent company, AMERCO, is an early adopter of new Securities and Exchange Commission regulations allowing companies to provide stockholder proxy materials via the internet. This approach has substantially reduced the generation of voluminous paper copies of these materials. And, to further reduce our carbon footprint, our Annual Meeting of Stockholders will be hosted online.
