Site Manager Philip Gold rescued an otherwise terrible experience with your mobile app based check-in for my 730am pickup of the truck. I was not allowed the lock code for the keys after several attempts. The App kept saying it could not verify my location in front of the key station. My cell phone was getting perfect reception and my location was turned on and working just fine. Mr Gold arrived and did a manual check-in and gave me the keys. I left with the truck at 930AM. The Movers were sitting Idle for 1.5 hours till I arrived with the truck. Extra cost of $383 for them. Never again using the app!! Harry Parant 803-707-9457

This location is clean n top notch! Probably the best ran n friendliest person I have ever dealt with when renting a truck! Professional person! Tried to meet all my request smiling n making me feel at ease which I think is a first for me when renting from Uhaul n I’m retired Military n have rented many many trucks n trailers from Uhaul around the country! Top notch location n personal! Would recommend this place to anyone!

After the death of my husband, I spoke with management about changing names on the account from his name into mine. The manager on duty (Philip) told me that it was ok to leave the storages units in my husbands name as I planned to clean them out anyhow. I returned at a later date to get some things from the storage units to find that locks were changed. I spoke with the manager who said that someone came in and reported they were a family member of mine and that they had lost the keys to the units. The manager informed me that he had cut the locks off and allowed for placement of new locks by someone other than myself. I once again spoke to this same manager about how my husband had passed and I was the administrator of his estate in which I could provide documentation to prove. I questioned how just anyone could come and provide my phone number and be allowed access to my units especially not having a key. The manager stated he just trusted them. The manager provided a description of the 2 individuals and the car they were in but stated that video footage wasn’t available. The code to the gate had been changed as well as the email address on my account without any contact from this facility. I would expect at least a phone call for verification allowing someone else access to my storage units, especially after the subject had stated they didn’t have keys to the units. Due to lack of security of my belongings, I would not recommend this location for storage.

Be more accurate on ur rates cause according to the online thing it was only 54 dollars but when got there to pick up it was 96 dollars only used in town for only 44 Miles and put the fuel back on full like it was when picked up

U-Haul reservation system sucks big time. Twice in less than a month they have screwed me on my reservation. Thankfully, a whole different U-Haul location, the " A Park & Store" U-Haul dealer was able to help me out at the last minute with no reservation just a walk-in. If anyone in the area is in need of a U-Haul I highly recommend "A Park and Store" U-Haul dealer.

After signing me in, I was told that I should have put more gas in the truck than was was in it to begin with. Needle was on F when I got it and on F when brought back. I told attendant I would drive next door and put more in it. He said, no. I already have u checked in now. I was also called and asked to bring back truck early as they were closed on Wed am. I asked for a rebate from UHAUL for returning truck early and was told No. I could have carried it back later even if closed. I got no rebate but I’m sure UHAUL got to capitalize by rerenting this same truck for the same period. Sounds like a class action suit to me. I will be contacting the Better Business Bureau and also never using UHAUL again.

Great customer service at this location. However, this is not the pickup location I requested. I never heard from a representative (as told I would) on May 6, so I didn’t know my pickup location was changed till the day of my pickup. I was highly upset at the lack of communication. Also, I was unable to use mobile check in, therefore ended up picking up the Uhaul almost 2 hours after I booked it for, which put my moving time behind.

Stop providing damaged and faulty equipment to customers who spend their hard earned money to rent from you. AND OFFER THE INSURANCE TO EVERY CUSTOMER SO THEY ARE NOT RIPPED OFF WHEN YOUR TRUCKS HAVE WATER LEAKS!!!

We moved to Alabama 3 yrs ago & my husband has rented trailers from this location several times. This was my 1st experience renting from this location. It was short notice & I needed a 10’ truck to pick up food @ the Birmingham food bank. Their appointment times are critical & I was able to get very capable help in securing this vehicle. I would also like to compliment Philip Gold who is manager @ this location. Besides being very friendly, he went out of his way to accommodate my need on very short notice. I appreciate Philip & he is definitely an asset to this company.

Mr. Philip Gold was exceptional each time we visited, called for any help! He is to be commended for the wonderful job he does as the manager of the facility!!! We can’t say enough good things about his wonderful attitude each time we visited. Also, we watched him as he helped others with the same attitude and just how he handled each one! The BIG problem was not the service at the Jasper, AL location (Philipp there was great), BUT I reserved this truck weeks prior to be picked up in Tuscaloosa --- which is 50 miles from Jasper. That is 100% unacceptable distance from the reservation pick-up site. Five miles maybe, not 50 miles. Pick up cost me three hours on graduation day. Really terrible system you have. Please do not tell me there was limited truck availability that day --- that is why I booked a reservation weeks in advance. Anybody can "take" the reservation, but you just do not know how to "hold" the reservation -- which is really the most important part of the reservation......the holding.

The man that I picked up from was very nice. But the people where we droped off was very rude. And clamed that I didn't put gas back in was a lie. Because I did the only regret was not taking a picture myself and keeping the recent. So not sure if I will be doing anymore renting. Because the over all cost to me was nearly 300$.

I was asked if I wanted to purchase insurance on the U-haul truck. I said "No. My Visa credit covers any related accidents on an rental vehicle. After returning the U-haul truck & receiving the billing statement via email, I discovered that I was charged $14.50 for insurance.
