Thankfully the office was open so I went in for help but I couldn’t find my truck. It was supposed to be self check in but the office had the key.

Maria WThe app offered pickup via the app and allowed me to book an 8am pickup. Upon arrival, I did rhe checkin and it stated to wait until the location opens at 9. I had movers booked 8:30 and had to push the back. When I e-signed it still had a drop off at 2 instead of the 6 hours I was promised. It was disappointing that the app and the location did not match and delayed the move.
Carol VThe front wheel alignment was out by a large degree toe out. I discovered this on the i95 whilst driving to my destination. I was able to handle this without incident but a driver who is more nervous would have an accident leaving U-Haul potentially liable.

Maria WThe gentleman at the Levittown pickup location was very helpful. The scheduling process was horrible. We scheduled to pick up the truck in Morrisville. The reservation was moved to Levittown, but we were not notified. We also ordered and paid for a mattress cover at the time of the reservation. The mattress cover was not at either Morrisville or Levittown. Very disappointing transaction overall.

Maria WThe man in the office had no idea what to do at all, from checking out the uhual, or to return unused boxes. Took almost an hour to leave with the uhual. Even after I checked out online. He had to call someone there was no answer waited for call back. He didn’t no how to work the computer or copier to make a copy of me receipt. Completely horrible experience.

Helenann LWhile the employee at the pickup location in PA was awesome personally, the truck had a front right tire that was worn so slick we had to replace it using roadside assistance the moment we returned to NJ an hour away (our original requested pickup location). Thankfully the mechanic was prompt, but he said he was surprised we were allowed to drive off the lot with the tire in such a state. A few days later on the road, the cab and steering wheel started rattling so violently we pulled over in OK, and again called roadside assistance. The mechanic who was called was also excellent, but he had to replace the front LEFT wheel this time with his own tire, that hadn't been pre-balanced by U-Haul (because none were available). Alarmingly, he said it was only a matter of time before we would have had a blowout, which leaves me to wonder whether the vehicle had been adequately examined before being assigned to us, considering we had scheduled a cross country journey from NJ to CA. Thankfully the rattling subsided when the tire was replaced, but by end of our journey different concerning sounds had arisen, audible at a range of speeds when we opened the windows. I appreciate U-Haul offering us more mileage and rental days to compensate for the inconvenience of picking up an hour away, and every single employee we spoke to or dealt with (including the independent contractor mechanics) was professional and courteous. I just worry that we were given an unsafe vehicle for a very long journey, which is disappointing considering how far in advance we booked. Thank you for welcoming feedback, and I still plan to recommend U-Haul in the future.
KATE AI had a great experience. Extended weekend hours are the only thing I would find more useful, but I understand that isn't always feasible.

SCOTT Bfirst of all the person who attended me was late to open store (not the first time)and the drivers area was very dirty. I will not rent from this place again. If U haul is not making sure the equipment is clean you will lose a customer. Not happy at all.

Maria WMake the Cabs bigger, what if you had more then 1 kid and no car, you sold everything you had, and were moving across the country one way. No where could you put another child.

Maria WWe changed our drop off location but were not told of the increase in price. We were done with the truck early and wanted to return it where we got it to avoid the additional charge and when we called about bringing the vehicle back around 2:00 pm we were informed by the worker that she was leaving for the day and we couldn't return there.
Christopher KThe location and truck were fine but the app and online site were giving us issues. We were able to very the vehicle for pickup but then it kept prompting us to verify the license info. It did this 13 times. We called and spoke to 4 different reps, 3 of which did not provide any help. The 4th tried his best to help us but ultimately, he could not. It took us over an hour to get the access code for the keys.
