The original location 4293 Prince George Fuel Inc was terrible. First we waited an hour as a truck was blocking it for which they had no key only to find the wiring in such bad shape that the lights didn't work so we had to be sent to another location. A dispute has been filed.

Showed up to get uhaul and was told they did not have the proper uhaul for me. Was very disappointed. Was told by uhaul rep on phone I would be receiving a discount for the mistake and I never did

I wanted to skip the insurance like I requested online and for some reason it added it on. That is my only complaint this time.

Reserved a truck several days prior, for pickup at at 10am. Arrived at 1130am and was asked to move my day as there was too much snow, then came back later and had to rent an inclosed trailer instead. Ended up having to do several extra trips and extending my rental rather than being able to do it all in one day instead. Costly and the customer service was less than helpful.

Someone at this location missread the milage, and now uhaul is now charging me for 400$ extra for milage i never made! Check your odometers before driving off with the truck, could have been an honest mistake but uhaul just wants your money, even a dispute didn't settle this, but i'm not paying for milage i didnt drive due to human error.

There were summer tires on this truck, which causes problems in winter time with ice on the road. Is it policy that tires do not get swapped out on U-Haul vehicles in the winter time? Is that legal? I wouldn't think so.

We were meant to pick up our 26’ truck in Port Mcneill but was told the day before that one wasn’t available. Luckily my husband was in Campbell river and he could pick one up. Disappointed (to say the least) that we had to pay for extra mileage for the extra 200km from Campbell river to port mcneill as well as the extra mileage from Mackenzie to PG because there’s no drop off in Mackenzie. Very disappointed with the extra $400 charge because of this.

Some of the trailer lights were burnt out when we got it. I didn’t realize until I was home. The pickup place “verified” the lights when I operated from vehicle. Should have double checked myself I guess.

Cab needed cleaning inside but the lady at the desk was very efficient, helpful and friendly. If I ever need another rental I will go there.

I booked a 26 foot and read the whole we promise u will get the size u ordered guaranteed. Well I was moved around three times and got a 20 foot. Not much of a guarantee. The place I did end up getting the rental from was great to deal with from pickup to drop off.

We dropped the trailer off outside of normal business hours (on Sunday). It was not clear where the trailer should be dropped. We left it in the most level ground place up against the locked fence for their compound. I chose N/A for the location because we did not enter the place of business. The location was average because of there not being a specific drop off lot area.

Location was fine, workers were nice, but truck inside was sticky (steering wheel, turn single, etc). Seat was not clean. Hand break release seemed to be falling apart. I had to clean it myself.....

its a power equipment shop, im not sure why they want me to rate if it was “clean and inviting” or not. the lady at the desk was nice and helpful and her dog was super cute.

Doing the check in online beforehand made the process quick and easy for both myself and the agent. The truck was gassed up and ready to go. Returning the truck was as quick and efficient as picking up the truck.

The lady at the front has.. not the best people skills. She was blunt and rude when I was unsure how to do things. The uhaul process through the phone is easy. You just need data to do it. Sucks you canr check in right before you drive to get the uhaul. Otherwise, uhaul was good. Associate at the location was horrible. Didn't greet me when I walked in. Entirely ignored me. I thought the front was empty and was waiting for someone to come out. She was bad. Customer service is customer service. I've been doing customer service my whole life and she was borderline horrible.

This is a combination of businesses as they run a small engine repair. Store was closed for lunch when we arrived to return the truck a day early at their request. There was no compensation offered for returning the truck early which we worked hard to do and we overfilled the gas tank and were not compensated. The ‘check engine’ light had been on but staff seemed unconcerned about that or that we found mouse poop in the truck attic area when sweeping it out. Not a great experience but the truck got the job done.

My experience is a little skewed since the original booking was with two other locations that had issues with someone not returning the optically booked 10 footer, I was then offered a 20 footer at the price as originally quoted. Only for that booking from Tabor Blvd to be sent off with another customer while it read already booked for my trip. My booking finally got bumped to this great location that helped me get on my way. The truck needs the air ride system fixed as "Drives like a van, hauls like a truck" felt more like a riding on a board on wooden wheels where you feel every bump felt like a speed bump even on brand new road surface at any speed. The truck was clean inside the cab and cargo hold.

Our company would like to use this service again however unfortunately when we received the truck we reserved, the tank was only a quarter of the way full. Our company paid 100 dollars to fill the truck up to avoid the fueling fee but our employee said that within the few hours we needed the truck, the fuel gauge barely moved. Seems like a maintenance issue

I dropped the trailer off after hours and 2 days early. A woman drove up beside me and started asking me a bunch of questions about the trailer and when I was dropping the truck unit off. I had no idea who she was and if she worked there that isn't the way to treat customers. I had the truck for 2 more days so I didn't have to return it until then. Rather rude and treated me like I was doing something wrong.

The lady that helped with the rental was helpful and answered all my questions. She was friendly and even though she was managing three uhaul inquiries as well as my rental at the same time period she stayed calm and upbeat.

I had lost my phone so I couldn’t rent online. When I walked in the location and let her know I didn’t have a reservation , it was like I was inconveniencing her day to help me. I asked what type of unit she had and she said she didn’t know and got me to go outside around back to look and then when I didn’t bring her a license plate she just turned around and went in the back without explaining what she was doing. She also looked me up and down and asked if I had a credit card, like she thought I wouldn’t have one. This is the second location in Prince George I’ve had a bad experience with, The first be in the car wash location. I also know that the rate I looked at last week was $.99 a kilometre and I noticed after the fact I was charged $1.49 km. Overall I would give this interaction a one out of five only because the unit was clean and performed its duty. U-Haul really needs to reevaluate their service providers if they want to retain customers.

She was grumpy and took a hour for lunch at a mom and pop job sat around waiting for her yes I was late but closed at a small engine repair shop and only her there and then her granddaughter brought her lunch wile I was there so what exactly were you doing for that hour I sat outside

Would like to know why I was charged another $14 the next day after drop off can I please have a representative or somebody call me ? (250)552-2403 Truck was dirty upon pickup was told I wouldn’t be charged for it, brought back on half a tank I had asked on drop off if there were any fees applicable and lady at the office at 2218 Nicholson street prince George said it was all fine…
