The location is closed on Saturdays which is the day most folks need to rent a uhaul. We opted to use mobile pick up which turned out to be a disaster. We watched the video with instructions and read the email in full and no where did it say that if you don’t arrive within 15 minutes of your scheduled time that your reservation would be cancelled. My husband had to wait on the phone for an hour and half past the time we planned to begin moving to make a whole new reservation and even then we ended up picking up a truck but it did not have the dolly in it that we requested. Overall not happy with our experience. Please put details in instructions about their being a deadline before your reservation is cancelled.

The guy working at A&M motors is a crook. Anytime I have ever rented a uhaul, I did mobile pickup however this time my app wasn't working so I had to check in in person. In the past online, I have used a mileage estimator and have put that number in to cover most of the miles of my trip under the same rate and then AFTER I used those guesstimated miles was I charged the 99 cents per mile. In the past, I might have went over 15 miles at the most so $15. So recently when I rented the truck and did everything in person, the guy at A&M told me that the mileage estimator was just a "placeholder" and that he always just puts 10 miles for everybody in there which I didn't think was correct but tried to trust the professional. I knew my job would need at least 30 miles minimum but again just trusted his advice. Well I should have went with my gut because sure enough I went over that 10 miles quickly and was then charged 99 cents per mile which ended up putting me $40 over the original quoted price. With all the expenses of moving, clear and concise information and a uhaul dealer that isn't a crook trying to get the max amount of money out of people, would be helpful. Instead I got charged then charged again. Lesson learned again, if you want something done right, cut out the middle man and do it yourself!

There is very poor internet service at the pickup location. It took me almost 2 hours and multiple phone calls to U-Haul, in order to complete the pick up through the app. My time is just as valuable as yours, and that delay cost me more out of pocket expense. I would not recommend.

It was very aggravating dealing with everything online I prefer dealing with this kind of business face to face. If I can’t do this face to face I will not be renting anymore U Haul trucks. I did not have a good experience, I almost cancelled this rental.

The wiring on the trailer did not work and they told us it didn’t matter drive without it I had to buy a piece to plug into my car and bypass their plug in order for my lights to work also the brakes are bad they squeak didn’t polled I was not happy at all

I had reserved my truck on line using my Discover Card (no problems). When I went to check out the guy at desk said my card was declined. I gave him a second card where he said it had no verification code-it did he just could not find it. Finally he got it with my Master Card. I called Discover-no reason my card should have been declined. Then I had to call U-Haul to make sure it was not charged twice.

I confirmed my UHaul pick up the day before with a representative on the phone. I drove 30 minutes to a different location than I originally requested to pick up the truck, which was not there when I arrived. I was then sent to another location to get a truck, which was once again not there. I was then sent to Paris, KY (60 minutes away from me) to a 24/7 location. I had asked the UHaul representative in person AND other people on the phone what would happen if my truck was not there. I was assured it would be there. To my surprise, I once again drove to a new location and my truck was not there. I originally requested a 15' truck and the only trucks available at the Paris, KY location were 26'. I then had to switch to a truck almost double the size. When I got in the truck, it was filled with a bag of garbage, the check engine light was on, and the truck was on empty. I then had to call UHaul for the 100th time and request the other 26' truck. It was an absolute nightmare. I will never be using UHaul ever again and extremely disappointed with the way my situation was handled on UHaul's behalf.

My truck had a flat tire about 30 miles from my destination. I pulled over to call roadside assistance but was left on hold and then hung up on. I call back and then I’m told there’s an hour and a half wait time just to speak with someone, not including the time it’s going to take for someone to have to drive to me and then fix the issue. I ended up having no choice but to continue driving and luckily I made it to my destination and then had to drive another 20 miles to the truck’s drop off location all while driving on this flat tire because I couldn’t get in contact with anyone to help with my tire issue. I was then told for the inconvenience, I would have my total amount due adjusted and my contract would remain open until that’s done. I was still charged for the full amount and no one contacted me to give me any updates as I told when dropping off the truck that I’d be contacted regarding this issue.

This location was 30 miles away from where I made original reservation. The office was actually closed and it took over an hour to get through the mobile pickup process before we could get the rental. Since there was no one on site, we could not get the supplies we had reserved with rental (dolly, paddings, etc.) We had to go to two more uhaul locations to get what we needed. No location had a dolly so we had to purchase one from Uhaul for $80.00!! Very stressful experience. Delayed us about 3 hours of rental time which made it necessary to extend our return time by 4 hours. We were charged for a whole extra day (although we were only given 4 additional hours) plus where charged an additional insurance of $28 for the additional 4 hours! Very disappointed in whole experience.

I have rented MANY U-Haul trailer for my work. This was by far the BEST experience I have had, for renting a U-Haul! When I got to A&M, they were very efficient with my time. All the other locations, I have dealt with have taken near an hour, if not longer... At A&M, I was in and out and on the road in less than 20 minutes!!! I will defiantly, use them in the future.

Very rude people and Charged me a cleaning fee for no reason and charged me for 3 days when I only had it for 2 days said I returned it at 10 am this morning when I had returned it the night before. the roof of the truck also had a hole that was leaking (looked like it had been patched before) it got my new recliner very wet and a bunch of my boxes. Very disappointed this is unacceptable for being over charged and damaging my stuff

This was a 2nd location since our confirmed location of KK Detailing in Georgetown was CLOSED without being notified. Since we don't do mobile check-in, we were not able to get the truck. After 40 minutes on phone with UHaul, we were able to secure another truck from A&M, but Paris is over 20 miles from Georgetown. VERY stressful and even UHaul said the closure should NOT have happened without notification. For people who cannot check in online, this was devastating. I would have given KK a "1" Poor on review, but my reservation number with them had been deleted from UHaul data base. 3 others were there that morning having the same problem with KK. A&M is excellent, and friendly and helpful. But just not as convenient to Lexington/Georgetown.

They jump started the truck, and didn’t give me any knowledge of the trailer and how to attach it and take it off, and I had to phone a friend to show me how to secure my car on the ramp. Plus the Uhaul died on me and I had to wait for 1 hour and 40 minutes at a rest stop. I was afraid to turn the truck off after that.

First it took over 45 minutes to actually get the uhaul over the phone because online said my reservation had expired and it would not let me re enter my email address. So had to wait at the garage that was closed and call uhaul to redo Everything I had already completed on thier website previously over the phone manually through a uhaul representative. Which took over 45 mins due to internet and or website difficulties. Then had to give two different debit/credit card numbers to verify payment. Was an out of the ordinary beyond unreasonable experience just to pick up my uhaul which I had already scheduled and had a confirmation number for.

I had reserved a truck to pick up at 11:00, when I got to the location at 10.39 and called the u haul company for assistance because the online service would not work for me. It took 4 times to call and I got hung up on 3 times. The owner of the building I picked the u haul up at had to call for me and get assistance for me to get a truck. The truck I requested was not even there and I still had to pay over $80 dollars for a truck that I only used for 3 and a half hours. I will never use this service again and will post this on social media and let everyone know how bad the service was. Know one was of help and it is so sad that there is no such thing as personal service.

Gas gauge did not work , put 50$ in & it didn't move , I did not drive that far , local hauling Will be calling , mileage & math matter .

When I reserved my u haul, they took out double the money. It took til the day after I took it back to b refunded to me.
