Manpreet GharaVehicle and vehicle was fine, booking was easy. The app really needs some work. U-Haul’s check in video said it should take a few minutes, took us an hour. Was quite painful. Overall everything worked out fine minus the check in. Also the app needs work, kept making me restart certain pages including checkout (made me take pics of the vehicle multiple times bechae ot would reset for some reason. Pain in the ass when I had to keep opening and closing the rear door for pics.

Terry SemotiukThe business hours were not as posted on the site or door. No one was there and no one answered the phone when the hrs were posted as open till 6pm. They didn't give me my appliance dolly and when we went back shortly after picking the truck up to ask for one they only had the small furniture dolly at different cost so I wasn't able to be reimbursed. The dealer sites should come equipped with any and all supplies needed especially when someone reserves one.

And when I waited till 10:30 (truck was booked for 10 but location didn’t open till 10:30), I went inside and they still had no furniture dollys to use for me. Also the business hours aren’t accurate. There were also 0 instructions on how to find the lockbox for the keys. It took my girlfriend and I 10 minutes searching around the entire building.

Amanda MountstephenStore opened 15 minutes late and overcharged us. When I called to talk about it, worker told me it was a glich in the system and it can’t be fixed and it is what it is. Also told me he couldn’t talk to me as he had customers to deal with and hung up. He did call me back but I was unable to talk as I was on the phone with customer service. So I called him back and he said not a good time and more customers. I guess I’m not a customer or a priority. I was told district manager would call me today to resolve over charge and he never did. Not impressed with the entire service

Brooke PinskySonny was excellent in supplying me a good vehicle for my move on a Stat holiday, July 1st. He helped me immensely by booking the U-Haul the night before as I couldn’t get into my new apartment which was being painted that evening. He did all the work signing me in as I am not familiar with the self-serve method. This was great benefit to me and my moving team which only had 3 hours Sat morning to load and leave with cleaning ladies arriving in the duplex that was up for sale. June 30 was the last day of my lease, a back to back move. THANK YOU to U-Haul and especially Sonny for making the move easier for me and my team.
Susan BittnerThe app didn't work. Wouldn't accept my payment method, booked for 9 am. Didnt get it until 11am. The 1st lady I "spoke" with answered and the call dropped. The 2nd lady while friendly and apologetic, couldn't assist with helping. The man at the location for pick up was 15 minutes late. The uhaul that was booked for me had alot of damage and was missing a wiper. The one that it was swapped for, was full of dried mud, tank only half full. And the lights for the trailer plug didn't work, power was there but no signals, hazards, or break lights. We required a pilot car to transport my items. Not impressed, would not recommend. Terrible experience on top of moving stress and screwed up schedule due to not being able to get the uhaul when booked. -5 star rating if possible.

Scott MastersonThe U-Haul had less than a quarter tank of gas despite me putting in my estimate of 40 km for mileage. I barely made it to my destination before I had to put gas into the vehicle. I was not impressed.

Christopher EPTONThey ripped us off by giving us a truck that was almost empty and when we returned the truck after only going 6.5km with the same almost empty gas tank, they charged us $84 after we left. They did not tell us that they would be charging that. When speaking with uhaul apparently the photo of the fuel amount and odometer that they require you to take in the app, isn't viewable afterwards. What is the point of the app making you take that photo if they can't view it to prove the amount?
