The location and experience with the personnel was good. The 26’ truck we picked up had a major flaw with the driver side mirror that, had I had time, would have caused me not to accept it. The mirror was held in position with ‘zip ties’ to try to keep it from moving while driving. It did not work and while driving down the road the mirror would get out of adjustment making it useless and dangerous by not having the correct adjustment. I was finally able to tighten the zip ties enough for the mirror to maintain it’s adjustment to complete the trip safely.

The service was good. The equipment was definitely used. The truck came 1/4 full and had a severe alignment issue. Also this location pull out to the main is not safe. Especially when pulling a trailer

It was a one lane, overgrown dirt road to a locked gate. No one there at 11AM on a Wednesday. No answer on any listed phone number. No poster hours of operation.

The service should be quicker and more straight-forward. The front desk lady was not ready to check me in and she did not give me any instructions for the check in process. She was not nice nor inviting and she was talking rudely about another customer the entire time I was there.

Location was tricky to find due to high speed and volume of traffic at entrance. Staff member was really great and transaction was efficient. Booking was quirky on the site and would not allow a booking over 24 hours?? Location was flexible with return procedure.

The, location wast not marked with signs that could be seen at night, it was down a very narrow road with weeds grown up over 6feet high at the road. There was U-Haul flags (at one time might have been the bright orange in color), you had a very hard time seeing at night. The owner called me all day (Friday-9/29/23) long about returning th truck and trailer by 11:00am, on Saturday, (9/30/23), we were doing out best to get this unloaded to get turned in, after driving 550 miles and getting here the night before at 11:30pm. I know U-Haul gave me $50.00 off for bring the trailer back, will never do that again, it's not worth the $50.00, it's worth more like $150.00, to bring one, you can't park anywhere, drive the speed limit, hard to tow. So I believe you should compensate me more than the $50.00 for all the trouble that the owner of the U-Haul in Georgetown caused me and the trouble it was to bring trailer back. Faye Wallace

I rented an auto-hauler trailer from Lubbock, Tx to return in Georgetown, Tx on 9/9/23. Everything there went well. Staff in Lubbock were easy to deal with. Trailer was there waiting for my arrival. I hooked it up and took it to take care of my business. I was done earlier than I thought, so I was back in Georgetown, Tx today and decided to drop if off early on 9/11/23. I had the address of 3520 W HWY 29, Georgetown, Tx 78628 and a number to call. I entered the address in on phone google maps to find the location. I left a message with the number on my contract - company – Empire Construction Operations. I could not find the turn to 3520 W HWY 290. There was no sign or address posted. The highway speed is 65 at this location and there is no improved shoulder. I drove up, did a UTurn and came back thinking I had missed the location. I still could not see any signs or address for the location. I finally got a call saying I was to turn on the unmarked dirt road across from another business. Still, NO SIGN, NO POSTED ADDRESS. Again, just as a reminder, I am hauling a trailer, on a HWY with the speeds of 65 or more depending on the traffic, no improved shoulder, and am being told to turn on an unmarked dirt road of which there are several and one I turned on had a very small driveway with a gate so I had to try to turn around and get back on the HWY. I missed the turn 3 times and had to turn around and try again. All with a trailer hauling behind my vehicle and trying not to get run over by the cars on the highway or cause a wreck myself or anyone else. I finally turned on the UNMARKED, No ADDRESS, dirt road and drove down a bit to find the “HIDDEN” UHaul return place. I am bringing this to your attention and please forward to whom it might concern as a MAJOR concern for the life and safety of your customers and others on this highway. This drop off location is UNSAFE, UNMARKED, NO ADDRESS IN VIEW AND EXTREMELY DANGEROUS. I highly suggest this concern be taken seriously by your company for the safety of the your customers, your trailers and anyone driving along this part of the highway. It is a serious matter and something needs to be done to make it a safer location or NOT a location for drop offs at all. I will be contacting the City of Georgetown of this dangerous situation for their review. I request that I be notified of the changes that you have made to this drop off location for the safety again of your customers, your equipment and other drivers along this highway. Thank you for your time and attention to this very serious matter, Don Verett

Very helpful personnel, but the entrance off the highway is not marked well with visible signage, and the gravel, dusty access road is narrow and rough. Once inside, there's plenty of space to maneuver, but I prefer asphalt or concrete driveways and parking areas.

Pick picked the “golf cart” option on the app and once there the trailer was too wide to haul the golf cart. The location would not allow us to exchange it near where we were so we had to drive it TWO hours back and waste $80.

Great equipment and friendly service. Even showed me how to lower the wheel covering which nobody before had shown me when I have hired trailers. Makes getting in and out of a vehicle on a trailer very easy.

The trailer would not hookup to my 2023 Chevy Silverado because the chains opening was too small so I Had To move chains from another trailer. Also, the light connection was the wrong one and the location had None. After wasting about 1.5 hours of my time I was charged for two full days of rental when the trailer was returned past the 24 hour time frame - not reasonable or fair. I will not recommend this location to anyone.

The entrance to the location was not easy to find. No business sign out front but there were two Uhaul stand flags. The attendant was very helpful and the whole transaction went well.

Change the location on Google to match the actual location. It took me to an empty lot. I wasted 30 min looking for the drop box and finally drove a mile down a dirt road to find a house to turn in the truck. I probably wasted 6hours on this rental extra over any other company. Never never again uhaul.

I reserved furniture pads and a dolly which they did not have. I then contacted customer service and they said that all they could do was send me to a different location an hour away, but that would delay my move so I opted out of that. One of the small lights on the trailer I picked up was out and the tire tread on one of the tires was bald.

This was the new location after uhaul moved my reservation without telling me. I drove out of the way to go to the original location to be told uhaul changed my reservation. This location was friendly but the uhaul almost flipped over as I turned onto the highway because they don’t have a real driveway. Just rocks to drive on.
