Jabril MWhen I picked up the car, the employee said that the estimate payment was $70 (but since the gas spent was not for 20 miles, but 8, the price should have been even less) I returned the car before the due time. No one told me anything about any additional payments. So why did I pay $124,98?
Mykyta MClean the trucks I picked up the box truck on a Saturday morning the guy (S) was nice and even helpful but when I returned the truck he was still there and to my surprise he was like a completely different person, hardly recognizable his damenor had completely changed. With the issue that I was having he stated that he would not give it any more energy that he has already done and that if I have any more questions to contact uhaul because technically he don't work for uhaul. I left at 2:10 pm for more fuel on top of the fuel that I had already put nin the truck and he had put up a clock stating he would be back at 4:30. While I was sitting in my own vehicle seeing him walk back and forth to the desk. I will NEVER
Christal MWhen I went to pick up the truck. It was dirty, dog hair every where and it had roaches. I went in and told the general manager and he said he did not care. That it’s not like UHaul. I return the U-Haul and gave him the keys. I received a call the next day telling me that I did not return the U-Haul when I did. I received another call saying the same. I called about in hour again and they found it. They charged me 15 for safe move that I never agreed to and I was also charge for gas. But my receipt shows a different gas amount than what the receipt showed. I will NEVER EVER go back to that U-Haul location again. It’s disgusting.

Kaitlyn TThe truck would violently jerk while driving which made some of the items in the truck shift. I tried to call but kept getting put on hold. The manager just said sorry and kept checking out another customer. I just walked out and will never rent U-Haul again. And I move A LOT due to work.

Thaddeus HRoach infested van. Would not recommend. Offered me a refund of half of my money back and said that was more than the normal and acted like that was doing me a favor. I will not be using them again for any services.
jim rVan was filthy and had ROACHES in it!! Also van said “Oil change required”. Informed staff and asked for a different van, they dismissed it and said none of that mattered. I had no choice but to keep the van because I had no other way to move my son to his college campus that day.
Angela PI, Bobby Padgett rented the truck and asked for Samuel Gaskins to be added as the driver. I am now told that I am not the owner of the account and I need get an paid invoice for the rental reinburement. Not sure how it got so complicated. One of the ladies at the rental place was not very nice.
Samuel GI want a full refund because I was giving a Truck with Bad tires, Ref # 2711439 for Pictures. After waiting 3 yrs for a tow truck in the hot sun. Compass did a poor job. Upon arriving at the locations. I waited 20 minutes with two other customers at the entrance with no staff in the building. I was given a truck and the employee did not walk out and check the truck which resulted in a flat tires 4 hrs away which i could have had a very dangerous accident, Poor service from Compass Self Storage and Uhaul for providing unserviced Vehicle which need a oil Change as well. Just all around horrible service from both companies. I am not happy with what transpired today!!

Colesha TStacey and her crew were helpful and provided a professional service. She explained how everything was to flow and it did perfectly.
Cheri ADropped off after hours. No interaction with the location, but did note that the key-drop slot in the door seemed poorly thought out. It was simply a mail slot that didn't close completely. The key we dropped was laying in plain view near the door. They even had a broom next to the door which would have made it pretty simple to retrieve the key and open the truck.

Vern CThere was a problem with my bill, I tried to call the location but no one answered. They took $10 for "coverage" what is that? And charged $6 for a gallon of gas, where as I added the appropriate amount back. SMH

TAI DThe truck was shaking very bad like the tire was going to come off. Had to drive very slow which was a bummer. For the price you pay for your storage I don’t think I should have to deal with rats in my unit. Only provide one dumpster to discard trash which is always full. They charge you $500 if you leave anything near the dumpster. I received threats thru email and text which I thought was very unprofessional because they call you if you one day late but when you call they never answer the phone and have an answering service puck up with no return calls. Good luck with this business. I’m very big on customer service and so should the business you are patronizing.
Aisha MThe truck was not to be rented, it was poorly maintained. The check engine lights was on, it only had one headlight, the tires were bald, the brakes were bad, you could smell the exhaust inside the cab. It would not accelerate over about 45-50 mph. It needed to be jumped and all, it was a terrible experience.

rose wI returned The truck on Sunday around 1 PM in the afternoon and I put gas in which showed 1/8 of a tank I saw where they billed my credit card for extra day which is incorrect and $10 for gas I need to correct this ASAP
reggie hTruck had numerous issues. Broken drivers side mirror, check engine light on, drivers side door was hard to get to close, etc… I returned with gas level same as when I picked up and was charged $60 to refuel?!? This place is the biggest scam there is. Weren’t even open on the hours claimed. Numerous people waiting when finally opened an hour late on day of pickup. Very disappointing experience. I could’ve dealt with all the truck stuff because the back was at least clean, but to charge me $60 when it was clearly the same level as pickup is unacceptable.
NATHAN DI spoke to a gentleman at this facility after I reserved my truck online. He gave me inaccurate information that caused me to was a trip and have to return the next morning. Then, the next morning, the staff was 45 minutes late opening. This caused me concern about missing my reservation again and losing the truck. NOT a good experience all around.

Franklin RThe employees were great, there was a man and a woman working on the day of pick up. However, when I got into the truck it was dirty and smelled like old cigarette smoke. I had wipes in my purse and used them to wipe down the steering wheel and get the left over food out of the cup holder. Also, the truck did not run smoothly and at times I felt that the truck was going to break down. Therefore, I would not recommend this location based solely on the condition of the truck that I rented. During this time of Covid-19 I would recommend properly cleaning the trucks after each use.
