Most of my comments are geared more towards Uhaul as a company not the specific location. But overall I had a poor experience all the way around. There seems to be a ton of uncertainty around what trucks are available and when and where you can drop off the equipment. And if you do not adhere to these terms that are completely uncertain, then you are charged fees. I rented my truck and was scheduled to pick up at a location near my house. The night before pick up, UHaul reached out and said there was no trucks available at that location, so I needed to drive 40 minutes away to pick it up. When I rented the truck I told the rep I wanted to drop in in Blacksburg, VA. I was told it was fine. Not a problem at all. But then a few hours after I picked up the truck I got a call from UHaul saying all locations near Blacksburg were full. I needed to drop it off at an alternate location. one was 40 mins away and another 1.5 hours away. what!!? I was told they would extend me an additional day and extra miles for the inconvenience. YET! when I went to drop off the truck I was charged for the additional miles. The shining light in all this is the customer service rep I spoke to (Kendra Williams) who listened to my story and waived the additional fee. ty Kendra! All in all a pretty crappy customer experience. I have 2 more kids to move to college and I am guessing Penske or another company gets that business. BJ

No problems with the return. Not much signage to indicate they are a U-Haul representative.
