Randolph BaltimoreThe van smelled like there had been a dead body in it when I picked it up. The plastic mat on the floor to protect Uhaul‘s equipment was a really big inconvenience and horrible addition for the consumer use because it got in the way of actually loading the van. The cigarette later didn’t work so my charging cable adapter was useless. Fortunately, I had a power strip with me that I could plug into instead. The person working at this location, Hamid, was the only person who knew how to do their job out of seven people that I talk to both over the phone and at two different locations. The first person I spoke with on the phone, destroyed my reservation in such a way that the next five people didn’t know how to fix it and ran me all over Fairfax county during rush-hour. Hamid actually fixed it in a matter of about two minutes and then I was on my merry way. I have rented Uhaul’s numerous times in the past and cannot believe what a messed up situation. This particular rental was. Many things to Hamid! Without him, I would not have been able to help my 84-year-old mother, who just had open heart surgery. The other six people seriously need more training and should be ashamed for causing such distress in my life for over an hour on the phone. It should take 1.25 hours to not fix something when Hamid was able to fix it in two minutes.
Michelle GildeaThe truck was dirty and had a tire pressure warning light on when I picked it up. Also, I suspect one of the insurance packages was added by the counter agent when I came to pick up the truck even though I had declined it when I checked in online. I was moving only 1 item and not driving very far with the truck so did not feel the need for the insurance, but saw that it had been added when I received my receipt after dropping off the truck.

Mark ServelloWent to drop off our truck and the location was totally closed with a sign that if we dropped a Uhaul off after hours we would be subject to a $150 fee. Had no idea of the hours and no heads up. This location was 40 minutes away from our home so added a lot of time to our trip to go back and forth for nothing then have to rearrange our next day to drop off during working hours. Would have been nice to have some sort of communication ahead of time.

Andrii KovalovThe customer service was excellent. Check in was easy and I liked the system to notate any damage on the vehicle. However, the vehicle was super old with about 150k miles on it! No way to charge phone, for example! Also, inside of cab was dirty. Ashtray full of ashes and cab smelled of cigarettes.

Christopher CopetasMake sure gas tank is full or nearly full. I was told all customers have to return the truck at least 3/4 full. But I noticed the gas gauge showed that there was only about a half a tank. I had only had the truck for 5 minutes at that point and had barely used any gas. I did not go back to the store to let the owner know about this because I had to get going on my trip. But I ended up paying more in gas (est $40.00 more) because the tank was not full as promised. Other than that everything was great.

Peter GallagherNo onsite parking!!!! I had to park in the shopping center down the street. There was room for me to park. I could have parked in the spot I left vacant with the truck. It was only a local rental for 6 hours. No on site parking is ridiculous!

David DanielsonThis was not a good experience overall. From the moment I walked in to the return. this location does not have a drop box, it also closes at 2 pm. This was a huge inconvenience and I will not recommend this location to anyone. There is also no place to park to avoid extra mileage.
