I signed up for 24/7 pick up and when I arrived the app said no equipment was assigned to me, so I then had to wait for 2 hours until they opened to get the truck. This set me back 2 hours of my move, which was frustrating. Once they opened, the check-in process was smooth, and had no issues there.
Michael HWould have been better if they helped with loading the vehicle on the transport but it was fine.

manuel rOverall we got to our destination Utah to Columbus Mississippi 27 hour drive. Con . Truck was outdated. No cruise control, it's must if your driving almost across the country. Con. Outdated entertainment system radio hardly got signal. Radio or aux cable. I had to buy an aux cord in order to listen to music and even then had to tape it up because the stereo aux hole was worn down. Con. Steering alignment The truck pulled hard to the right and on a long trip well, it will become apparent on your arms constantly having to apply force to correct for the pull. Pro. Great costumer service , Got into some road issues and they quickly got on top of it , I would rent another Uhaul just updated.

Ray BTruck engine revved very high before shifting gears. Not sure that is normal. Location did not have mattress covers advertised on their web site. Otherwise very good. Polite, efficient and helpful personnel.

Scott HDrop off was not inviting. I was instructed to drop the trailer in the lot and they would email me a receipt. I did as instructed, but wondered if I would get the receipt. The receipt came a day later and I was charged for an extra day. I have pictures of the drop off on Monday, but the receipt says it was returned Tuesday.
Dennis LLocation was fine but truck share was horrible. Couldn’t locate that I was at the right location so took over 45 mins to get my truck. Not the best experience on moving day.
Heather TThe dropoff location didn't do the checkin on the spot, but took the keys and said they'd do it later. That allowed them to fudge the gas usage and over-bill us. I took a picture of the fuel gauge. Such old-fashioned tricks are disappointing to see that they still occur.
John LThe manager or owner was very helpful - even clearing up confusion over two simultaneously booked reservations. Graciously came out to the truck to help me get it started because I was not smart enough to simply turn the ignition key far enough - duh. Easy checkout and check in.
Stephen HSpecify if the location is open when the return time is specified. Also tell them if it's after hours they will need to check out online or through the app.

Teresa MI was required to purchase a ball hitch when I rented a pickup truck. Uhaul branded hitch... This was supposed to be included in the rental but instead I had to pay an extra $42 to get the job done.

Richard CThey have no urgency when helping people and clearly don't care about their customers. The staff left in the middle of the day (not during the posted lunch hour) and a half dozen people were stuck waiting to pick up or drop off a truck. There wasn't even a sign in the window saying when they would be back. The first time we rented from here nobody showed up until 30 minutes after they opened.

Judith RAttendant in Sandy was modestly helpful. I had to undo, redo and undo the trailer once more to move it to a different place because the attendant wasn’t paying attention.

Alvin EDidn’t have regular Dollie’s available and was told I must pay the up charge for the appliance dolly. I was told that if they don’t have the dolly at the location that “it’s too bad so sad” basically. So they expect me to pick the regular dolly up at another location if I’m not willing to pay the up charge on the appliance dolly, but then I’m paying mileage to get equipment that should be available. I should just be allowed to rent the appliance dolly at the regular dolly price if you don’t have the equipment that was on the reservation.
Scott DI was quoted 19.99 base price and that was what it said on my van. However, I was charged 89.99 base price. The location was great but I am not happy about being overcharged 70.00

DANIEL CThe truck was super old and felt like it was about to fall apart. I guess it's fine for local moves so not a big deal. The biggest issue was that I reserved 4 sets of blankets. I showed up and they only had 1. What is the point of reserving if apparently nobody checks the reservation until you show up?

Rich WAnswer the phone and return voicemail. I needed to extend a day. Tried calling location total of 20 times, wanted to let them know would need to extend 1 day, no voicemail set up. When I returned I was told all good. I leave to then get multiple texts and emails saying I needed to submit photos of trailer in its return spot. I’m out of town at this point which makes it impossible not to mention when I walked in office I was told all good. I have no idea what the final bill is and find it extremely frustrating they provide number but won’t answer, 19 of the 20 times not even voicemail. 1 time it went to voicemail, explained I would not be able to come take picture and asked they call me to finalize billing. Never heard from them and continue to get texts and emails saying I need to take photos of returned trailer. Still no idea what’s going on after 3 days. Can someone please call me to conclude. Brian BLet the customer know there is something they need to do from their cell phone to check the vehicle back in .. got charged over $70 for a little truck that should have been half that.. I only used it for a couple hours and drove 3 miles according to the mileage I saw and put in gas...but when I brought it back they never informed me I had to check it in via my phone I saw that text later that day when I checked my phone. Nice way to rip people off

Misael RI picked up a motorcycle trailer. Used it for about four hours and returned it the same day. I get my bill via email and see I was charged for two days. I drive back to the dealership. One of the guys remembers me bringing it back early. I'm then told I have to call your customer service to get a refund. You've got to be kidding. I wait on the phone until someone answers. He hears my complaint and then says it has to be reviewed by some higher up to see if I get my refund and that could take up to three days. U-Haul customer service is one of the worst in the industry.
William MThere were several dirty blankets (and several clean, folded blankets still in an open plastic bag) in the back which I don't want to be charged for (I didn't order blankets because I just needed to move a few furniture pieces) Opened water bottle and pistachio nut shells in the passenger door which I don't want to be charged for. Daniel RWhen I returned the truck, the mileage was 111081, and when I pick up the truck, the mileage was 111006, which means the mileage I drove was 75 miles(0.99 each mile). But they charged me $93. Also I refueled the gas to bit more than 15/16, they charged me for two gallons of gas. It’s unacceptable.

Ronald EWe didn’t receive the dolly and moving blankets we paid extra for. This made the moving trips longer and we had to rent the truck for an additional hour. The truck was clean though.
Caleb RWaited 45 minutes to get checked out for a tow dolly. While I waited I noticed how dirty the lobby and shop were. Staff was not really helpful or friendly. Parking lot was hard to maneuver. And once the dolly was hooked up I tested the lights and the left rear light was not working at all. When I mentioned it all I got was “you are welcome to check other places in the valley”. Overall a pretty poor customer experience.
Eric AThe young man who handled my rental was very helpful and professional. He is what made the experience exceptional. Unfortunately, there are not that many young people with those work standards, today. Good job!
