When I replaced the fuel I ended up putting a 1/2 tank of gas in it because there is no way to see a guage. Also, It would help if there was a note that stated the gas tank size. I asked for a credit at the rental place and she called the company but I havent heard back. If I dont get a reasonable credit I am going to have a problem with that.

cody brummettIt would be so nice to have a U-Haul pick up place in Princeton, IN that has this size of truck. I rent this size truck once a month and usually I rented it from Memmers in Princeton until you took the truck away so now we have to drive to Evansville and get one which cost us so much more and we are a non-profit organization who really can't afford all the extra cost. PLEASE PUT A TRUCK BACK IN PRINCETON

Patti HuberI was 100% pleased with the service I received at both the pick-up and drop-off locations in Indiana and Texas. I would wholeheartedly recommend either of those locations to friends. However, having to deal with the U-Haul website and (as a result) actual U-Haul personnel was a totally different story. I had originally reserved a U-Haul truck at your location in Boonville, IN. The day before my pick-up, I received an email from U-Haul that my pick-up location would actually be in Evansville, IN. That’s no problem – except for the fact that when I logged into my U-Haul account to try to resolve the situation, it still indicated I would be picking up the truck in Boonville (!!!). I made the mistake of calling the U-Haul number (1-800-GO-UHAUL) and then had to deal with a ‘Customer Service’ (and I use that term VERY lightly) rep who was rude, somewhat confrontational, and totally and completely unhelpful. When I questioned which location I would be picking the truck up at, she informed me that I had received an email from U-Haul when I made the reservation that I would be picking up the truck in Evansville, not Boonville. That is totally & completely untrue; I DID receive a vague, non-specific email which told me that someone from U-Haul would call me the day before my pickup to finalize location and time. Regardless, when I contacted the actual Evansville location, they were able to straighten out the confusion caused by your website (and your ‘Customer Service’ rep). During the trip, I ended up interfacing with individuals at three of your locations and, when I told them about my difficulties in dealing directly with U-Haul, they all agreed that I should avoid using the website in the future (because it results in a multitude of booking errors and mistakes similar to what I encountered) and also avoid calling U-Haul (because of the unhelpful CS personnel which you employ … again, similar to what I encountered). They recommended I should call the individual locations directly in the future …… which I will certainly do in the case I ever have the need to rent from U-Haul again (hopefully not).

Customer service was nice, but it should have been handled better by just checking me in themselves quickly instead of trying to get the website/app to work.
