The rental process was quick and easy. The truck was clean and well maintained . I would definitely recommend Family Automotive for truck rentals.

Frank FlorenceTHIS location was excellent. The staff were great and the 26' truck was new and drove perfectly. My issue is that I had reserved a 20' truck a month in advance at a location close to where I was packing up an elderly in law's belongings. On the evening before my equipment pickup, I drove to the requested pick up location to verify the equipment would be there. I was told that they would NOT have my equipment, but a scheduling manager would call me at 6:00 pm, to provide me with a new pick up location. I called the number and was told that they could not find a truck for me anywhere in the vicinity. After 5 hours on the phone with different UHaul representatives, I found a 26' truck located 80 miles away. My original quote for a 20' truck was $650, one way to another state. My new cost for the 26' truck was $1,750 for the same trip! Since I had flown in to move my 85 year old mother in law in with us, I was trapped and had no other alternatives. I was reminded of the Seinfeld episode where Jerry arrived a a rental car business with a reservation, and they didn't have his rental car. He told them that is how a reservation works; you make a reservation and they hold the car for you. The clerk said that she knows how a reservation works, and he tells her, I don't think that you do. I will be writing a letter to their corporate office. If you use this service, just beware that your equipment may not be available at the location or the size equipment that you request. I hope that you don't have to drive 2 hours away to find the equipment that you need.

Samir BotrosI was originally reserved at another location but when I got there it was out of business. I called the U-Haul 800 number and was on hold for 30 minuets (unacceptable). They moved my reservation to Family Automotive. I lost an hour in wasted back and forth driving and the phone call and should at least been offered a courtesy discount or a free replacement truck. Family Automotive was professional but U-HAUL was not.

Paul FoxEquipment reserved was not available at time of Pick Up. Uhaul sent text messages 45 minutes before pickup to advise the truck reserved was not at the location and wanted me to travel to another Uhaul location 30 minutes further away. This was unacceptable. The original location was nice enough to offer other equipment options available but sadly at a higher mileage rate than I reserved.
Dennis HonorLocation very convenient. Çustomers should understand that to drop off truck after hours, the uhaul app is needed. I got the app the evening I dropped it off, but app was only letting me order a truck, not drop it off. I called customer service and they were very helpful. It just took longer to drop truck off than I expected.

Maria MatthewsI rented Auto Trailer. The staff is supper friendly and they connected the trailer for me. However, the trailer needs maintenance. One of the ratchets was broken and one of the tires had nail. Other than that perfect.
