Annette FHawkins was great!! UHaul was awful!! Showed up at 8:45 am to pick up my truck at 9 with reservation. No truck available. No call or text. 3 moving guys waiting by the hour. Called 800# for UHaul, hold for 10 minutes, North Carolina region not pick up spoke with someone in different region who advised closest 26’ was about 45 minutes away 1 way. Transferred me back to 800# held 10 minutes transferred to another region. Rented only truck dealer had 15’ with oil light on. On way to destination passed Hawkins UHaul and he had 2 26’ on site. Took 10 minutes to rent and returned 15’ $50 cheaper for twice the size?? Still no contact, apology or explanation from UHaul for their screw up. Reminded of Seinfeld episode - anyone can TAKE a reservation- you have to HOLD the reservation!! Would love a call, explanation and $ for my workers for UHaul mistake. 919 580 8960 Don Clark Crickets

NYREE RMr Hawkins went above and beyond to help me out! When he learned that I was a military member he provided me an extra 2 days to my quote to facilitate with my move. He was so courteous and even helped me load my car unto the auto-transport. I would definitely recommend him to anyone in the Wayne Co. area (military or not).

LARRY GIt is just a pleasure to do business with Don Hawkins. Renting and using the very nice GMC van which served my purpose extremely well.
LARRY GThe process to download ID picture, self picture was not a very streamlined process. We arrived at 155pm and did not complete the process until 305pm. Once submitted a response finally came that stated unable to verify and needed either passport, secondary contact info, etc. This should have been a required field when reserving the truck and not at pickup. Was not pleased with the pickup experience.

Michelle CEliminate wait times, by doing away with the unnecessary paperwork, especially when you take advantage of the "Check-In" online option. I still had to wait to complete and sign paperwork in order to pickup my rental. Thought the purpose of the Check-In online option, was to alleviate paperwork. Maybe this portion of the rental process needs to be reevaluated.
