The application did not working again to return the truck. The station worker did not know process. He called someone on the phone. I wanted a receipt for the return, the person on the phone said if you want a receopt take it to another station or bring it the next day !!!! I took pictures of the return/ truck and mileage as I could not get a receipt

After I put gasoline in the truck, we were billed for 2 gallons at >$5 gallon. When we sign the original bill of sale the clerk told us we had a range that she circled to put gas back into it. (She held that copy), so I did just what she said. The. We were billed for 2 gallons which it turned out to be less than a gallon .

I have reserved trucks before and had good experiences at other U-Haul places, this is not a location I would go back to. I’d rather spend money on mileage and rent the truck somewhere else in the future. Attendant was on the phone and was distracted. They didn’t have all the equipment I reserved and the truck was in disrepair.

When I arrived to pick up my rental. There was a trailer attached to it, the back gate was open and there were empty boxes in the truck. The attendant was unwilling to help or provide an alternate vehicle.

The truck we were given had its check engine light on, and horrible transmission problems. The location had no other truck to give us. The headlights would not turn on which caused us to have to pull over on the highway to fix. Absolutely garbage service and horrible experience all around. We feared for our lives the entire 4 hour drive. U-haul is an unsafe company who directly put the lives of their customers at risk with their unsafe vehicles.

The utility roller and furniture cover pads I ordered and paid for was not inside the vehicle. Had to ask for them at the location but only the pads were available. I then called customer service, was told a nearby location had a utility cart available. After driving time of 20 mins, 15 people were in line before me and I eas told they only had appliance rollers available, therefore, it would need to be written up as a separate invoice AND I would need to wait in line…25 people already in line, getting impatient because only 2 or 3 workers, in which one worker was outside with another looking for misplaced return vehicle keys. Truly a waste of my time AND quite the inconvenience because I now had to pay an unknown person in the area in order to move heavy boxes and had to leave a piece of furniture behind deluxe to lack of time and manpower. Retuning you storage today to retrieve pieces of furniture unable to handle yesterday…I will be buying a utility roller from Home Depot. I’m a very dissatisfied customer and this is the first time I’ve received such unsatisfactory service from uhaul. Andria Coryatt

Beware that the trucks are not waterproof (and state that on a sticker in the truck). Driving in the rain, water poured into the truck through previous damage that hadn't been repaired to be watertight. Water soaked boxes that dissolved to muck, swelled our wood furniture, and soaked into the cushions and mattress. If it starts pouring, beware that continuing to drive in a driving rain may fill the truck with water.

My original reservation at a different location got bumped at the last minute, probably due to some other inconsiderate customer who didn't return the 5x8 trailer I wanted on time. I changed the revised arrangement, then showed up at the wrong place (Lakeshore Exxon). The folks there were calm, professional and helpful in changing my reservation so I could take their trailer and be on my way. Thanks, Lakeshore.

Clean the truck! The cab interior was very dirty. Had to clean inside with Clorox wipes to get it useable. Inside and outside of all windows had to be cleaned hard to get the grime off. Much more than normal. Took 45 - 60 minutes of work.

The location itself was fine; however, the area customer service and scheduling was terrible. My pick-up date and time was changed multiple times, and I had to beg to get a truck at my scheduled time. This caused a huge inconvenience since i had already scheduled movers to load the uhaul, and I would have lost $500 if uhaul wouldn't have provided a truck. When I attempted to explain all of this to area customer service representative Ashley, she was extremely rude and not understanding. She finally said she found a truck, more than 45 minutes from my home, and she said that I had to pick it up that evening. This caused me to cut short a final family visit and drive over 3.5 hours last minute to pick up the truck the day before my scheduled pick up. When I tried to explain that I was no where around, Ashley was very rude and made it seem like I should be grateful she was willing to give me 25 extra miles and an extra day...neither of which I needed. I asked if I could get a discount instead, and she quickly cut me off refusing. I've used uhaul several times, and I never will again after this experience.

Shady person running this place. Rented uhaul for 24hrs and went to pick it up. Owner canceled the rental and then redid it for only 6hrs and did not tell me he changed the hours. When I found out what he did and told him my truck is full cause I needed it for 24hr he threatened me saying he's going to call the police, charge me $200, and report it stolen and furiously cussing at me saying it was my fault. I worked out a compromise with an employee there who was a lot nicer and understanding. The owner is a swindler with an attitude problem. Never again.

The mileage on the contract did not meet what was actually in the gas tank. The location representative told me to take a photo with the mileage included and they would take care of it at the drop off location. Well that wasn't the case. It was a big hassle and they charge me $6 per gallon which I was never told about when I made the reservation. That is a complete rip-off even if I owed it. At the drop off the representative basically told me that was not his problem and he had to write down the amount of gas showing on the gauge and had no interest in viewing my photos which proved it was incorrect when I picked it up

Attendant tried hard but not properly trained. Gas pump and food store took priority. I did on line check in, but still took 50 minutes to sign in. Ordered 2 dozen blankets, but they had only 4 blankets.

I had to fill out everything on the computer for the gas station employee behind the checkout desk. Half the time the employee was running around not wearing a mask. He didn't know how to fill out the questions on the rental and just had me put in random words or numbers. Now I am being asked to pay for 4 extra days even though I only had the Uhaul for 4hrs as orginaly scheduled. I picked up and dropped off at the same location and had the Uhaul from 12:30PM -4:30PM on 9/13. I tried emailing the address I received in an email about having any questions I got a bounce back. I swear every time a rent a Uhaul no matter which location I go to I have some kind of crazy problem. Who do I contact about not being billed for 4 extra days!

I ordered a doz furniture pad covers and they only gave me 6, did not have enough to protect my furniture and a lot of pieces got nicked in transistor because of lack of protection. Was not happy. Will never rent from this facility again. Plus inside truck had a lot debris wasn’t swept.

Understand how to use your own system and make sure employees know what to do when someone comes in to drop off a Uhaul. It took me an hour to get a van I reserved and the employee had no idea what to do when I dropped it off.

The woman who serviced my equipment check-out was cordial and helpful. Only downside was she had to serve the steady stream of gas station/convenience store customers while also working on my check-out, so there were many interruptions and it took quite a while. I understand the situation, but still, it made an ahead very long day a bit longer. The following is not a critique of the location where I picked up the equipment, but rather the overall experience engendered by that location's distance. If at all possible, please try to facilitate not-same day equipment pick-ups. I rented a 15' truck and car transport trailer separately, a day apart, to simplify truck loading logistics at my apartment, where parking is crowded. When it came time to retrieve the trailer, I had a 35 minute drive to get it, followed by a 45-minute drive back-tracking in the opposite direction of my final destination to get my car where I'd left it the day prior when I got the truck. This all ate into my allotted truck mileage substantially, not to mention, of course, the added stress and travel time added to my move day.

ATROCIOUS CUSTOMER SERVICE! DO NOT RENT FROM THIS LOCATION. WE RETURNED THE TRUCK 100% CLEAN AND WAS TOLD BY THE STORE MANAGER THAT IT WAS FILTHY AND WANTED TO CHARGE A $35 CLEANING FEE. NOT SURE WHAT IS GOING ON, THE TRUCK WAS NOT CLEAN WHEN PICKED UP WITH A STICKY SUBSTANCE SUCH AS SODA ALL OVER THE DRINK HOLDERS AND DASH AND WE CLEANED IT UP. I HAVE RENTED AT THIS LOCATIOB MULTIPLE TIMES AND HAVE HAD NO ISSUES. THE MANAGER WAS UNPROFESSIONAL AND RUDE TO SAY THE VERY LEAST. UHAUL SHOULD REMOVE THEIR PRODUCTS FROM THIS LOCATION. I WILL BE SURE TO LET EVERYONE I KNOW VIA ALL CHANNELS AT MY DISPOSAL INCLDING SOCIAL MEDIA TO GO ELSEWHERE.

They didn't want to show me where the lights were and how to open the back. None of the charging ports inside the car worked so my phone almost died on the 10hr drive and I couldn't use gps. They didn't chose a specific drop off, so when I went to drop off the vehicle I couldn't because they couldn't find my name. The lady taking the vehicle didn't know how to check it in so she had to get my personal info and I was charged for an extra day. Worse uhaul experience ever!

I had put in for a Dundalk location. I was sent to Pasadena. This added miles to my move which in effect caused me to go over and I had to pay more. I should not have been penalized for Uhaul’s disregard for customers needs. I completed the expresss check in. It was a 40 minute ordeal. I had to wait for the cashier to wait on his connivence store customers. The first truck would not start. The second truck started but we had to wait because we were blocked in by the fuel truck.
