Trygve NIt was a sunday and the first time I picked up a truck with no staff on site. So I had to use an app to follow the instructions to pick up the truck. I couldn't get internet service so I had to walk across the street to the restaurant and log on to their service. Luckily one of the staff members showed up at the site even though he wasn't scheduled and he processed me 45 minutes later into my truck. The staff person was great, the location I'm sure works for lots of other movers.
Danna HThe guy hooked up tow dolly with emergency brake on. He also told me the turn signals were backward and that it was the wiring on my plug in on my RV that was wrong. I told him that they were correct on my trailer and a previous dolly we rented but he said it couldn't possibly be the dolly. IT WAS! I thought the dolly didn't look right but I figured he knew what he was doing and maybe had to switch the lever after hooking it up. I was halfway down the highway when I knew there was something wrong. Then we had to call customer service and she sent a towing company with a replacement. (Side note, the lights worked fine on new dolly). Needless to say it put us several hours behind schedule. This man should not be renting equipment if he has no clue what he's doing. Someone could get hurt. Thankfully I figured out what was wrong, of course it was fairly obvious. The customer service woman was excellent however.
Fred LLocation is small and easy to miss. It is an auto repair garage and detailing location so it’s just not fancy. Personnel was really helpful and friendly.

Doug Kpaperwork stated that I was dropping of truck in Madison Wi. due to a mix up on U-Haul part. Lauderdale Auto Repair tried to fix this issue, Had issues dropping truck off.

TariAnn TWas mostly clean but not 100%. I wasn't bothered except I just did n't want to be charged for someone else's mess so I cleaned up that mess too when I was cleaning mine.
Alexander SDoesn't make sense to have the truck in this location that is closed on Saturday when there is another location a mile away. I signed up to pick up the truck at 7am. The online information said 10am and I couldn't change it. I arrived at 7am and couldn't complete the online stuff, so I was on hold for about 25 minutes. If people are on hold for that long, you should get more help. When I originally reserved the truck, I signed up for a drop off location. When I did the online pickup, I was asked again where I wanted to drop it off, but I couldn't remember where I originally chose, so I picked I don't care, or something like that. I didn't have time to look at the map again and decide where the closest drop off was. I ended up driving about a half hour out of my way to drop off the truck. Your system leaves a lot to be desired.
Troy BNothing, picking up the trailer was super easy and the mechanic was very helpful. Dropping the trailer was again super easy and the mechanic that checked me in was very helpful. Fantastic experience on both ends.

Sonya OProprietor was not set up for good customer service but had obviously taken good care of the equipment. We had a negative experience with the main U-Haul location in La Crosse Wisconsin.
Paul KEverything worked well except all of your U-hauls should have cruise control. I can't tell you how many times my legs felt numb from driving over 2800 miles without cruise.
Roger LIt was a quick checkout experience. Tires on trailer were my main concern since I was pulling it 1400 miles. They looked like newer tires.

Aaron KI was not aware that he drop off time was 9 am. Brought the hail back. Elite the next couple was to rent it at 1025 and was charged an extra day.

Glenn MAt this point I would have a hard time recommending UHaul. Your system was awful. I booked a truck for $255. When I changed the pick up time 2 days later the price changed to $559! Chevonne with customer service fixed it finally so thanks to her!! Then next day When it was picked up they entered the drop location which then changed the price back to $559. Rita at customer service then had to have the difference credited back to our account which was a few days. She was also a big help!! So thanks to her, but this process and all the calls and stress of this was unacceptable and ridiculous. Our dons friend who was moving with UHaul 2 days later had the exact same issues. It’s starting to seem like a bait and switch! People are stuck because they have the move logistics all lined up so it seems you have them in a tight spot and some people probably just pay it and move. Your two customer service ladies helped a lot and we did get our refund but should not be that difficult of a procedure
Ann STruck was dirty in the cab, needed cleaned out. Back was not swept out and was very dusty.
