I was charged an extra mileage charge that I was not expecting. I moved to a small town and didn't think there was a drop off location there. So, I had to drive to a neighboring town to drop off the vehicle. I tried to adjust my reservation, but was told that I'd incur a change of drop off charge, so there didn't seem to be any good options. The excess fees were disappointing.

angela harrounthis location did not have any of their equipment ready to rent. All of their equipment was snowed in. It had been three days since it snowed, an employee had to use his personal truck in order to pull the equipment out of the area that it was in only after they dug it out. The business parking lot was nicely plowed and maintained the parking lot in which they kept the U-Haul equipment had not been touched. From the time I walked in to the time I left was 45 minutes which made me late to my commitment that I had that evening

Krystal BartekSoftware at checkout didn’t adjust the return time to the pickup-up time, resulting in extra day charge. Took associate (non-technical?) 15 minutes to figure out how to remove the extra day (before payment).

Patrick RothPerhaps link the reservation of U-Hauls to all pick up locations... So when physically standing at one location. You can reserve the size you want without having to use a phone.
Jerred RayIt was okay. Not much of a selection. We were never informed of the buttons to push off with a load or empty load. Check engine light was on. If I have to use a U-Haul again I’ll mostly go elsewhere.

Eric ForrestCalled u-haul for a 20 ft u-haul they said no problem but they didn’t know which “Lincoln NE” location. I get a call a day before and they say it’s in Beatrice. I don’t live in Nebraska I had to find someone to drive me a hour away for a truck I was told would be in Lincoln. Then I get there and they give me a 26’ truck. Some people might see that as a upgrade but it cost me. I didn’t need a 26’ truck and they get way worse fuel mileage. When you are going 400 miles and gas is $4 a gallon it’s a price I didn’t want to pay. Mead rental was great. U-haul customer call center not great. I want a discount on my next truck
Alex ThompsonTruck was dirty and needed to be swept out. No instructions on how to drive the truck. The personal was more interested in getting me out the door then really helping.
Matthew DaakeI actually rented a 15' truck but by the time I picked it up it had been changed to a 26' truck for the same price. Turned out to be very useful to have a larger truck so the upgrade was appreciated

Randy JonesThe rep that rented the U-Haul to me, told me there was an $100.00 deposit. When I went to return it, there is no record of a deposit. And now they are saying that I still owe money. If I knew that I was not going to get the$100.00 back, I would not have rented the U-Haul.

BRENDA CASSONI was charged for two days because the rental place was closed when I returned the u-haul. They said they have no way of telling when it came back. Maybe try calling before you charge me for it?
Marrissa SloneI picked up on black Friday in Nebraska paid in full and dropped trailer in shell Rock Iowa 2 days later and was called from Waterloo Iowa 2 days ago wanting the trailer I told them I dropped it in shell Rock and I was charged $86 dollars and some change. I am owed a refund
Anthony NelsonIf the truck is dirty, don’t pass it to the next customer. Do your job and make sure the truck is clean and maintained. Poor customer service at Mead Lumber.

Melinda StoneWhere the trucks are parked, the general public park their cars close to the rental units and makes it a little tight to get a large rental truck out/in. A little signage should help. Otherwise no complaints....personnel were great to work with/very helpful....overall a good experience.
Maurice VonasekEverything went well. Some problems with internet but not their fault. Maybe not quite as organized but they do more than just Uhaul rental. I would still recommend them.
