Not really good at helping customers with problems
Kenneth ReynoldsI was charged for pads but there were none available. No one could help at the fast station. I have emailed you and not heard back. Very disappointing.

Rey SerranoWe had problems with pick up and drop off. No one on site to discuss any problems or concerns. There was a phone number listed on the door to call for management and when we did the person would either hang up on us or send us to voicemail and not respond to our calls. We dropped the vehicle off timely on Saturday and the u-haul app was not working so we had to call 3 different phone numbers to get help. Finally received help but then was told the location has to close out the contract/order. Because the business is closed until May 1st and no one is working there no one closed it out and I had to call back the following Tuesday to yet another u-haul number to get assistance. I was told the regional manager would close out the contract and I gave it 24 hours and when that had not occurred I called back yet again on Wednesday. Finally on Wednesday the contract was in fact closed. We were not overcharged however this experience is very discouraging.
Brian GiampietroLocation was changed without notification. Called customer service and due to wait times requested a call back. On call back, sat on hold an additional 20 minutes which defeats the point of a call back. Only thing worth any praise in entire transaction was the truck was clean and mechanically intact.

David SheppardThe attendant that was there was NOT helpful at all, but rude and condescending. I asked if he could read what items he had included in the invoice and he said, " I sent you the info on your phone, you want me to read it to you, too?" I explained that it was in my phone and so small and I couldn't see it very well. Yes, I wanted him to tell me the items that he included on the invoice! Very reluctantly and condescendingly he let me see them on his bigger screen. I told him that there were none of the items that I put in my order, for a total of $30 were NOT in the truck, and I did not want the Safe Move Ins for $28, that he included, and could he please take it off. He said he couldn't and gave me the name of his boss/owner Roshon, and to contact him. I did and he refunded the $30. I am still waiting for the $28 to be refunded. I will not use that location again! I will not use a service/product and be treated the way that the employee treated me. I suggest that such individuals receive training on how to interact and serve the customer with kindness and respect!

CHRISTINE DINIZOI order a dolly and (2) of moving pads. Which I only used one dozens. Am disappointed that I didn’t even get to get a dolly due to the location. It having one at their location and mainly angry that I being charged $42 for (7) pads that I didn’t get! So was suppose to gave (20) total and only received (13). I would never use Uhaul again and if I have to it would only be at a true uhaul center location not these little contract locations.

Twanda jewellTruck rental was shifted to this further location, 6 miles further away, thus costing 12$ extra. Also, I had checked in online, but this made no difference at Plaza Exxon, taking 1/2 hour to get the truck. The molding was falling off the front windshield, leaving black tacky glue all over the door. The "return app" double charged the bill, and Plaza Exxon refused to deal with it, and the UHAUL customer service (after spending an hour on the phone) said they have no authority to correct it. and argued for me to go back to Exxon again. I asked for a manager to call me. I did finally get a proper charge on the credit card days later, and still no personal contact was made as promised. I'm not impressed with the way customers are treated.

Timothy RutledgeUnfortunately I will never use this location ever again! This was my first experience ever with uhaul and I have to say I was very dissatisfied with this location and the service clerks at this location. They really did not know what they were doing. They had no idea how to explain how U-Haul works. I was so frustrated. Their customer service was awful. They had no idea how U-Haul even works. I asked for time I had to bring the truck back and they couldn’t even answer that question. This location really does a a dis-service to your company. I had to call the main U-Haul number to get questions answered and for assistance. I was however highly satisfied with the customer service agent that I spoke with over the phone when calling the main number.
Dionisia BelloThe lady there who did not speak English well and could not answer my question so I had to call the main office before I got my rental. Also the rental truck I got to have spray paint on the hood and on the side. OK other than that I was real happy with the truck gas mileage was good

Todd PickenThey had used their own lock in the truck. We got there and they had the hardest time taking their own lock off of it! Took them 20 minutes to get it off that came out of our time with the truck. Btw wasn't them who got the lock off it was my boyfriend who finally figured it out. Highly disappointed.

Idriss KOUYATEHMy pick up location was changed by U-Haul from my desired and closer location. The pick up location was 30 minutes away versus 5 or 10 minutes for my original selected pick up location. This caused me extra inconvenience and to incur extra unplanned mileage.
Kar Chun ChungService was terrible. I didn't receive a receipt until the following day and I was over-billed for mileage and charged for two dollys that I didn't receive. My worse U-Haul experience ever. I wouldn't send my most hated enemy to Plaza Exxon.

Charles JacobsLocation did not seem like they knew what to do. They called someone and handed me the phone to talk with the person. There was no contract to sign physically and I was told to take a picture of the mileage and gas when leaving and returning for my records. I'm used to a different experience with UHaul, where the person at the location reviews the condition, mileage, and gas level if the vehicle with me prior to me signing the contract. Also I had reserved a dolly and blankets and this location didn't have those items.

Suzu Shrestha1.First of all I scheduled my truck pick up at 8 am, they postponed it to 9 am, when I reached there at 9, the person responsible to hand me the keys, came about half an hour late, finally I got my truck at around 10...messing up my entire schedule. 2. They charged me for a dolly, and after the payment they told that they don't have one right now!! And I will get my $10 refund once I return my truck. I mean you dont even know your own inventory? 3. The place is not at all clean and looks shady.
Piyush ParamaneWhen I arrived the person was did not even seem to be expecting me.. the system was down, but that understandable because of the snowstorm we had 2 days prior. The inside of the station is unsafe and had gas tanks INSIDE, which is NOT SAFE and code violation. I stood around for almost 20 mins for the person to get in contact with someone else, then from my own phone had to call the same person he was talking to In order to complete the process. Got to the Cargo Can and it wasn't even cleaned off, which caused me to wait. The inside had trash in it and a terrible odor of cat piss. The Van needs maintenance, the oil charge warning light was on. I will not be using this location, nor should Uhaul! It reflects bad on the company.

If you ordered 15' truck, why are you given keys to 10'? If you order dollies and none are available, why are you still charged? If you pay extra to rent for 4 days, why was order switched back to 3, yet you are still charged for 4?

DIEGO MUYAI preferred to get a hard copy of my contract but the pickup location could not provide and told me I would get it through email. They also didn't do a walk around with me before I took the vehicle which made me a little nervous but overall it was a pretty painless process
JONATHAN CALHOUNI was sent to a location 10 miles the wrong way of where I ordered it from. So I had yo spend extra money. It was the 4 th time I rented in a month and the last.

He kept telling me to call back after 5 minutes, and then finally told me that l had the wrong address and didnt drop the truck in that location, even though am positive that's where I dropped it since he sent me the confirmation after l handed him the keys.

Kenneth WaltersI placed my order to include a dolly and 2 dozen blankets. When I arrived at the pick-up location, neither the dolly nor the blankets were available. The gentleman did refund that amount of the reservation price; however, this did not help me in my move. I called the closest Uhaul location to my home and they did not have these products available either. I placed a call to the Uhaul customer service line. After being on hold for more than 20 minutes, a customer service representative took my phone number and told me that they would call nearby rental locations and would get back to me "quickly" with information as to where I could pick up a dolly and blankets. No one EVER got back to me. In addition, when I picked up the truck, it was FILTHY. There were piles of dirt EVERYWHERE, like someone had swept up sand from a trip to the beach. I didn't have time to clean it up before my movers arrived so I had to make due. Once my move was complete, I just wanted to return the vehicle. It was after-hours and the drop-off app would not work. I wrote a note and deposited it with the key. I was then charged for a clean up fee for the truck. I will NEVER use Uhaul again. I've probably used Uhaul for various moves 8-10 times in my life. This past one was the last.
Lauren GoodYour 'guarantee' is a joke. My 'guaranteed' truck was not there when you said it was to be. I 'lucked out' by finding a little truck on July fourth weekend (meaning every large truck was in use) and I had to make seven additional trips (at payment per mile) than I originally intended due to the smaller truck. Why did I even make a reservation? You know how to take the reservation, but you don't know how to hold the reservation. From now on, you shall always have a bad word of mouth from me... unless you cut me a brake for YOUR failure to deliver that which you have promised. I'll always tell everyone I know of my nightmarish experience. Thanks for nothing.

EI PHYUTerrible experience. Pickup location was changed and where we had to go made us pass 2 other shops with uhaul about feont and where still there when we returned. The gas station attendant was beyond lazy. Never looked at the truck. Made us take a picture of the miles and gas so he didn't have to walk out.

Lorraine SwainWas quoted $45 for 15 mile trip. Gentleman asked if I needed one way or round trip, I told him round trip. Arrived at drop off location with 26 miles, correct amount of gas in tank, and the drop off location could not find me in the system. They asked for my name and number and had me along the way and that I would be billed "at some point". An hour later I received a phone call from the drop off location informing me that since I dropped off in another state that my new rate would be $112 unless I drove it back to the original state.... this sounded like a hassle so I said the $112 would be fine to pay and that was the end of it. 2 hours later I receive an electronic invoice from U-haul for $260. I called customer service and they answered immediately and placed me on a hold. After about 10 minutes she returned to our call. I have her my name and she annoyed asked what she could do for me. The lady had an attitude that could be perceived through the phone, probably not the best role for her to be in. I explained my problem and she tried to argue that I had booked a round trip and was to return the vehicle to the original location or else be charged hidden fees in the electronic contract. I told her this was not correct and that I had booked a one-way trip. She (u-haul rep) then saw that I did indeed only book a one-way trip and said that a rep would call me in the next 72 hours. This is not the type of service one would come to expect from national brand. This is not okay. I firmly believe we need to retrain the original location, find a new role for the customer service rep (who clearly has a distaste for her current position), and refund me down to a reasonable rate for the services provided. 26 miles is not worth $260.
Jaime SaonaWhen I request a specific location to save my ass on feul, please follow through, or don't even make a selection possible for it. I specified a specific location days in advance, and you tell me the day before the pickup I have to go somewhere else out of the way. I will never be using your services again, and I will regularly reccomend another truck rental service. $101 for the truck and $25 feul fee, when the truck should have been around 50-60 dollars total. You guys really ducked me.
