Ryan MWas needing a auto transporter. Live in Johnson City TN so went to Roan St location. Check in person got mad because I paid in cash. Guy that hooked it up plug into wrong plug and blew the tail light fuse. He got mad unhooked it said my truck was tore up. I told him it prob a fuse. He called me a dumb ass. I sat there waited for refund. Another guy came out and had some abusive language. On top of that they shorted me 5 dollars. I changed fuse. Found trailer in Big Sone Gap Virginia. Hooked it up all lights were fine. I was a U Haul dealer 15 years ago and never treated anyone the way I was treated in Johnson City. Very vulger and rude.

James SWhen I arrived at the location at the assigned appointment time, I was told to wait because they were working on a duelly truck. I was on a time limit but got it completed anyway. Overall, It went fairly smoothly and they gentleman was easy to talk to and deal with. Will use again and recommend to anyone needing a rental.

BRENDA BNot so much a complaint about this specific location as it is about not being notified of the change in location. I had requested to be notified by email if there were any changes to my rental as I live in an area with no cell coverage. I arrive at the intended pickup location on time only to be told that my rental is actually an hour away (2 hour round trip). And not only is it an hour away but it doesn't even have all the equipment I had intended to rent. I am moving by myself and needed furniture dollys to help though I ended up having to use two computer chairs as replacements. Will be considering hiring actual movers through a different service in the future. Overall, very displeased with my experience with UHaul.

Dale BThe ratchets on the trailer needs oiled very hard to use do to rust. The trailer was hooked up improper But I will take the blame for that I should have checked it my self. Lucky my truck was not damaged when loading the vehicle the trailer came unattached from the truck.

Richard DAll they have to rent are trailers. It’s a car repair shop that also rents uhauls so it’s not their first priority. The place is old and not well kept up and the staff are too busy with their main jobs to give quality service to the rental customers. It got the job done but wasn’t a great experience.
Shawn LMake sure the customer's schedule allows for the truck to be late. My rental truck was almost 3 hours late so I had to load in the rain. They did offer a bigger truck but I wasn't able to use it for what I was doing.
Vincent KI was originally supposed to pick up @ Kents Flooring in Jonesville, VA. I am taller & bigger than average & the cab of the 10 ft truck was too small but they walked me thru everything outside with the vehicle before we realized the cab was too small. This location just did paperwork, handed me keys & said its out back. Keep in mind I had a car hauler & no one came to guide me onto hauler or help me hook it up correctly. I'm also partially disabled & getting up & down to hook it up correctly is hard enough as is, This was my 1st time using such equipment as I would imagine is the case most times for most renters. They did come out & assist me after I went back in to ask for help but I don't think that should have been necessary. I would recommend it simply because its @ an auto shop so if there were a problem I'm sure they would most likely be able to help out.

St NThe staff is very discourstey and they add things to your bill just to pad their pockets with extra money. I will never use this location nor will I ever get my vehicle fixed there. It is by far the worst service I have ever had.
