And I rented from u haul in Santa Rosa so it's weird that a Vallejo would be fraudulently charging me dosent make me feel like my private information was safe at all. If I had that much money they would have just taken it.

Peter R.When I picked up the truck it had less than 1/4 tank of gas. The truck alarmist broke down in the middle of the move. It was overheating needed coolant, and was leaking gas my friend had to pull over and get coolant. This made the move late and I was still asked to get gas and the guys at the counter were not helpful at all. We did get a credit for the coolant purchased but I expect more of a discount for our trouble. You should not be renting faulty trucks!
Lisa H.The employee checking me in was very short and brisk with me, and came across as annoyed that I had questions. I do not know her name because she didn't share it. She stated "your Van's the only one out there", and then left the office. I'm guessing she's not a morning person, but she was my first contact. The checkout process of me going over Van on my own and doing on line verification after I signed forms was not helpful. The Van had the "change oil soon" indicator on dash as soon as I turned it on. The van smelled like old dog and urine, and there was dog hairs on passenger seat, and in back. Return process smoother, and the employee at the desk was kind, and didn't come across as annoyed that he was working. Vehicle handled alright for what it is...a commercial van. It squeaked a lot, and was very bumpy on gravel road.
Mary Shannon C.When a customer walks through the doors of any business, their initial expectation is exceptional customer service. Unfortunately, this establishment falls far short in that regard. Moreover, when a customer invests $150 or more in renting one of their vehicles, the least they can expect is a clean, fully functioning vehicle. It's beyond frustrating to knowingly receive a dirty truck with operational issues, particularly when embarking on a long-distance journey. I strongly encourage the owner, manager, and employees to explore alternative options to witness how a well-managed establishment should operate. Regrettably, I cannot recommend this place to anyone else.

We had to come back twice and call you all our self and do everything on the phone so took us over an hour to get the truck and then we didn't even get the right truck and then I had to call again because there was no gas in the truck mileage is off, so it's not a very good experience. Definitely not for this location.

Raymond S.Terrible attitudes and customer service of the counter people, especially the lady. I reserved a pickup 4 days in advance, showed up at my appointment time and they had no pickup trucks. She tried to send me down the street without even calling them to see if they had one. I told her just to give me a van. She discs. I took pictures of odometer it had 93 miles on it. When I got back I note iced my paper said 64 miles out. They would not correct this and charged me $24.92 for miles I didn't use. When I got van gas's tank was empty, I put 1/2 tank in, when I got back they charged me $6.22 for a gallon of gas even though I brought it back with more gas than when I left. They would not correct this. I will never go here again and I will tell everyone I know to not go there

I called them twice and got no help . Told me to wait ... I should have that hold off my funds immediately upon full payment of bill

Jack L.The ladies that were working the front desk 11/21 in the afternoon were working so hard. It seemed uncharacteristically busy at the counter, the phones didn't stop ringing, and they didn't miss a beat. The uHaul check out link worked perfectly, however the online after hours return process wasn't as seamless. I was able to call and speak to a customer service agent (close to 11pm) and get everything taken care of that way.

She was short staffed bet remained cool under pressure with the long lines and phone calls coming in. They definitely dont make them Like her anymore. Also, I like the sense of humor of the manager at the actual location where I picked up my truck. He made all my stress disappear. Sorry I don't recall any names.

Lois D.My reservation was originally made at Kings Tires II; this was the first reservation I've made where no one called to confirm my reservation and there was an issue getting my equipment. The person who took my call at the 800 number and helped me find another truck was very helpful, as was the staff at Smiths. However, there was a difference between the cost of insurance that showed on my reservation and what Smiths states on their contract (about double).
