Corvan WDuring cold weather the trucks rear overhead doors are frozen shut and hard to open. Be nice to some how warm that door for customers
JEFFREY MI rented a car carrier trailer. Though the trailer itself was satisfactory, it was kept outside and was full of snow and ice. The single digit temperatures caused the straps to freeze solid and it took me almost two hours to get them untied and into a usable condition. Quite a miserable morning. Else, the trailer performed well. Placing the trailer inside to thaw out the night before (I made a reservation) would have been an excellent move.
Russell EBarbara did an absolutely great job regarding our need for a moving truck. We had reserved a truck, days ahead of time, with a competitor, but when we went to pick it up on the day we needed it we were told they had no truck at all for us. The competitor did nothing for us - no substitute truck, no forewarning of there being no truck on the day we needed it. We called Star Spangled Sales, and spoke with Barbara. In a matter of minutes we were set up with a truck and were able to get our needed move for that day accomplished. We highly recommend Barbara and Star Spangled Sales to anyone needing to accomplish a move.

ERICK WParking was in an open gravel lot. Using the app for remote drop off was a pain. App kept going back to start. Took 25 minutes. Frustrating. But this location was convenient.

Jim DThe location was locked during regular business hours. You are supposed to just leave your rental on the public street and not drive into the parking lot. However the sign stating do not enter the lot was obscured by already parked U-Haul vehicles so how can you know before you have made the mistake. Drop off time listed was incorrect. Owner was rude. Never again.

Brian DStar Spangled Sales was great. Had a problem with Trojan Storage Rental of Mokena. Was promised a truck, they had it sitting outside. I went inside and asked if I could look inside to verify the size (10 ft) would meet my needs. Check-in attendent said yes that’s fine. Come back inside and tell him that yes truck with work (size wise). He proceeds to tell me that Truck is reserved for someone else. Somebody is coming later for that 10 ft truck, yours hadn’t been returned yet. I don’t know how that works? How can a truck be sitting there and I can’t get it, mine hasn’t been returned ? Anyway avoid Trojan storage !!! Use Star Spangled !!!
Joseph GDo the necessary repairs to get the truck to drive SAFELY down the road without loosing steering, fix the illuminated warning lights on the dash, and fix the ramp so it doesn’t FALL OUT while driving down the road..little stuff to make people smile !!

Tim WIf some reserves a drop off spot make sure there is room to drop off truck. I got notified the day of that I could not drop the truck off where I intended to. No facilities were available to drop off the truck that was nearby my location. They scheduled one-way rental turned into a two way rental. It seems like if you had any sort of logistic department you would be able to figure this out. I was very disappointed I had to drive the truck all the way home.
