I picked up rental van and was helped pretty fast. He couldn't email me a contract for some reason, but told me it all went through. I dropped off vehicle and had to do some paper work and I was there for an hour because the guy there was having trouble on computer. I would not want to go through that again.

Staff were nice, so got average rating instead of below average. Location very convenient as 2 blocks from home. Negative: hard to know what truck size I was getting!!! And site and app did not work for me!! Originally wanted 15’ but site said none so picked 20’. Two days before rental I was confirmed as getting 20’ by uhaul. Pickup day the app and site would not let me check in. Staff first said only 26’ available which is a big problem as my moving spot was very small. Then they had a 15’. Why was I jerked around by uhaul and dealer on truck size?? Took 35 minutes to get the 15’ truck - too long.

The experience was barely average. The app was not working so had to go in and have the booking completed in person. This location only uses their mobile phones it is painfully slow. Had to scan my DL 3 times. Picking up the vehicle and dropping off the staff were just not happy. Seemed like a bother that they had to deal with me in person. If the location was not so convenient I would not every return.

The truck pick up was too long and unorganized. The drivers license photo app wasn’t working and I had to complete 3 times. Also, I had requested 3 dozen blankets and two different trollies and I only was able to get one trolley and 1 dozen blankets the day of pick up. However I was charged for all the equipment that I requested but did not recieve.

Checkin in person not possible, have to use the app. Update your website/reservation system. 4 people in line all struggling with your app - not uploading DL and other issues. Make bold when reserving that alt drivers have to be present at pick up! Not the only one stumped by this issues having to scramble and adjust plans. Left vehicle better than I found it! System allowed my to reserve a 20’ truck in okotoks only to be notified a day later than none were available. Staff/owner was doing his best to to keep things moving though was relying on central uhaul booking agent to help deal with client check in over cell phone - could not hear very well on both ends making repeat DL/phone/name etc. taking 3-4x longer than need be! Could barely understand my call back agent - strong accent and talk way too fast! Moving is a stressful time - uhaul might want to not add to it… just saying. Standing 5th in line gave me good view of the inadequacy of your system and gave me time to start working through the app and adjusting crew schedule for alt driver and meet time at location. Good notes was truck worked ok other than not clean. Owner doing his best despite only being a uhaul depot for a short time.

Tires where low, long line up at check in took nearly 40 minutes to get sorted, app didn’t work. Considering my original booking was in Calgary and when we got there no van available!!!!!

U-Haul needs to come up with a better system, this morning when we went to pick up the truck the system wasn’t working and they had 5 customers waiting. We couldn’t check in online and we had to check in over the phone it took over 45 minutes just to pick up the vehicle. It was extremely frustrating. I felt so bad for the 2 individuals in the office since it wasn’t their fault at all, Also the tires were so bare, the truck we were using got stuck in various places due to the melting snow everywhere.

The services was okay. This location is definitely geared toward people using the Uhaul self-serve mobile/app option and not in-person service which is what I used. The location did not have a computer and the staff used mobile phones to do all the data entry which was a bit slow. They suggested I use the app and the self-serve option. As this was a location I had not used in the past I did not fully trust going the self-serve route.

I reserved the truck for 11:30 and did not get the truck until almost 12:30 which made me late. The owner was so confused about how to check out the truck which took a lot of time. I could not have been more disappointed. The cost was more than double what I expected to pay. I will not be renting from this location again.

Made us back the trailer up 3 times into different spots, told us we couldn’t drop it off at that location even though I had the confirmation.

There was no signage of how to get I to the building, the employee had no ides what he was doing and I ended up having to call uhaul directly to get errors corrected. It took over 2 hours to pick up our truck because of this. The truck wipers didn't work and the engine light was on.
