The reason I went to this location was that I originally tried to pick up a truck from the Leigh Ave location via the app. Incredibly frustrating experience. Took 90 minutes with the help desk to get the app to "work". I ultimately left without the truck. The app stinks. Way too many steps and difficult to follow even with the help desk walking through it. Scrap the whole thing and start over.

Biju KurienUpon inspection of the truck prior to departure, I noticed the fuel level was lower than indicated on the contract. I walked back inside and shared my discovery with both uhaul employees present. One returned with me to the truck, agreed the fuel level was lower and said no problem, but he did not document his findings on the contract, instead stating, it would be fine, he'd adjust it when I returned the truck. Upon return inspection by the uhaul employee (all staff present were different from the prior day), I was charged $26 for not returning the truck with the same amount of fuel. I showed him my receipt for fuel I purchased less than 1 mile and 5 mins mins prior to our location and explained what his co worker had said the day before. Not sufficient for him to retract charge. I then showed him the PICTURE I took of the fuel gauge prior to departure from uhaul. At that point, he went to a coworker, had a discussion, and eventually removed the extra $26 charge. Lesson, (reinforcement for me) take video and pictures of everything, to include gauges, prior to departure.
Bruce HeinzenAnn at the receiving location was extremely rude, and blamed me for the issues with delivery. I'm not a uhaul employee neither am I familiar with the policies and procedures neither am I responsible for the technical issues surrounding my order. The staff didn't appear to be comfortable working with her. I would highly recommend removing her form directly interacting with customers and advise in giving her training in basic customer service skills and fostering a healthy work environment. For the time bring I'm recommending people at a minimum avoid this location

GIOTIS SAKOULASHi, recommending at least the steering wheel and both seats for polished - geez how annoying to get a sticky wheel. Yet the coffee holders and radio are frequently used and should be spotless as well. Hope next time is better. Thank you. Really like the suspension on the cargo vans - nice ride.

OSCAR ROXAS Roxstar LocatEquipment was great, person who handled transaction was great. However upon returning the trailer, asked for help from person on premises to disconnect trailer, as the spare tire was in the way of the ball locking mechanism, so could not get it open. Had to remove hitch pin, to "drive out of the hitch". Employee was unwilling to help, said would not use fork lift (which he was on at the time) to help disconnect, when asked for blocks to hold tires, did not have equipment. When I asked what to do, he said call the manager...I asked him to call the manager, he said he would not and walked away. The woman inside would not call manager either, said she was pregnant and could not do anything to help, gave card with manager's cell number, called twice, no answer. Had to improvise with bricks to lock tires and drive out as planned. Terrible customer support, would not use this location again.
Vladimir GleyzerYour 24/7 check in continues to be cumbersome. At 5:30 in the morning another truck was parked in back of my truck directly touch the bumper and preventing me from accessing the “scroll” lock to open the rolling door to get my key. It was cold and raining and was getting late for me to leave for an event. Fortunately the manager showed up 1 1/2 hours early before the store opening and was able to get the keys for me. If not for him I would have missed picked for a charitable event. In the 21st century there has to be a better way to access your truck vs relying on rusted out locks on a cold,dark, morning! I have a problem accessing a truck every year I rent from U-Haul.

We were in the end storage unit and you didn't know if anyone was around the corner as it was a dead-end and someone could have been hiding there. I did see the cameras, but I feel a large mirror at the end could show if anyone was hiding around the corner. All in all, it was a pleasant experience and we will be using your service again.
