Without your/U-haul's phone app, which I prefer NOT to install for a once-per-year rate of renting, check-in and -out is very slow and painful.

Overall my experience was good, they were busy with what looked like a hitch install and were a bit delayed getting me and another customer served, they went outside to help someone so I was in line / in the location about 20-25 mins. As a mgr by profession it is hard to have employees everywhere all the time. So I understand only having one person on the counter. Not a complaint by thought I’d pass on my experience.

I was given a wrong size truck, my updated reservation was a 15’ moving van, but was given a 20’ one. I was unfortunately stuck in the gas station I had visited in the previous rental. I was able to make that turn one year ago with a 15’ truck. This time I was billed $590 for the towing service due to the wrong truck received.

They were respectful and helpful I was under the impression you got 48 miles with the truck but I only got 38 so I had to pay 40 extra dollars that I was not planning on paying

The guys were always pleasant to deal with. Everything was great except I was told 1 1/2 -2 hours to install my hitch. Three hours later I called to see if there was a problem. They said no, that time was just an estimate. .

Trying the online return, was a mess, tried 45 minutes to use the app, finally called support, she tried to walk me through the app again, could not get it to work. She finally sent a message to this location email, stating that I did return the rental before 9 pm and that there was a issue, and do not charge me a late return fee.

Why in the world do I need not 1, but 2 contacts to rent a furniture dolly? I showed my driver's license, military ID, and paid for the rental on my credit card, but still needed contact info for myself, my wife, and another person! Why don't you just ask for a urine, blood, and stool sample while you're at it? I could understand if I'm renting a vehicle, but a furniture dolly? GTHOH.

Need to hire staff. It is difficult to speak to anyone because they are busy outside with equipment. They are overworked which effects customer service. When transferred to the main call center the person was rude and didn't try to extend any courtesy to the fact that my one day rental turned into a 17 day rental that cost me $946 and I was only requesting an additional day because of personal circumstances that were out of my control. I didn't enjoy spending over $900 to have a truck sit in my driveway for 16 days! As a supervisor I would expect professionalism when someone has paid daily for a rental. Especially when I have rented a uhaul once or twice a year since 2018.

I want to like this location, but having only one checkout open on weekends is crazy. I had to wait close to an hour to pickup my reservation and was late, even though I arrived early. This has happened before, and I left after 20-25 minutes. I hope they can figure it out their customer service.

This location was either understaffed or disorganized or both. I waited for about an hour in line to receive a vehicle. My reserved vehicle was not available so I had to take a larger vehicle I did not want. The staff was nice however.

The staff was great . Everything seemed very easy to operate and understand . I did see roaches in the storage unit it's all wood inside not sure if it's easier to infest then metal but I did see a roach right on the door when I opened it up. Unfortunately I had no choice but to move it in or I wouldn't have had the truck back in time .

All the staff I came in contact with were nice but all the office staff employees seem to need more training and experience because I paid cash for services I didn’t need and now have to wait days for reimbursement on my debt card which makes no sense since I paid with cash. The female I encountered was very knowledgeable and got me squared away right away

We didn’t move out. They messed up all the paperwork. Put us in a different storage unit and then the guy who actually took us to our (wrong) unit stood there today (7/21) and swore he had never met us before. (Tall white guy with a partial man bun).

Storage area was ok but the rental of the truck was a disaster first off I had to find the vehicle myself when it wasn't in the assigned parking spot and the guy sent out a guy to look for it and he came back in and started taking care of customer like I was a nobody and the vehicle was wrecked I went back in right away and reported it and the guy said take pictures but I'm sure we are aware of it he said and he said bring it back on half tank of gas and it was not on a half tank to begin with so took a picture of that with the mileage so they try and say I put more miles on it then what I did and also it wasn't even cleaned out it smelled like cow poop and in the front was dusty and leaves and dirt all over the floor and the passenger side seat looks like it had marijuana or dryed something on the seat so in my in my defense they didn't do anything to it at all I got it as is

My experience with U-Haul was extraordinary, the gentleman (Jesse) that assisted me was very patient when it came to me asking for a bigger unit since the one i originally received was quite small for my move, and also setting up my online reservation.. I would definitely come back again.

Employees offered wonderful customer service. While Uhaul the company offered zero customer service and forced me to hire a locksmith to service the unit and the lock that I paid UHAUL for service. The company who’s product failed, forced a paying polite customer to spend $135+ to service YOUR UNIT/PRODUCT. I didn’t rent a unit from a locksmith. I didn’t pay a locksmith for the UHAUL lock that immediately jammed. I didnt put my credit card and personal info on anyone else’s business account but yours UHAUL Your employees were helpful, but horrifically ill informed. Two employees agreed I could buy bolt cutters and deal with the failed lock myself. Your management is so greedy with knowledge ( to hold a totalitarian state) that neither (pleasant) employees was educated enough to tell a HIGHLY UPSET PAYING CUSTOMER. Thattttt, NO sir you cannot do that. It’s against policy, no bolt cutters won’t work. Not a word. Clearly poor management. So I'm not only in the hole for UHALS failed lock, also the unit. Which UHAUL refuses to service? Seriously? Its your bloody product. I'm now $325+ in the hole for 48hrs of tragic service/failed product. Your employees also kindly informed me I could get a refund. Before 30days of “service” expired. So I'm irrate to say the least.

Thank u for your services. I was in need of storage 7 yrs ago when I rented it..and times were tough when I did a settlement to get my things out. I've lost a lot. I only had 1 day to get my stuff and it was me and my daughter. We got what we could and had to leave the rest.its not the fault of uhaul. I lost my job due to covid..my apt..my daughter and the clothes I needed for the funeral was in the unit...I have lost so much.

The wall in unit 7004 needs to be repaired on the right hand side near the floor, the cement is falling off. Uhaul corporate needs to help Staff to know what exactly the size of each unit can hold. The young lady who opened my account looked on your site & tried to find the info out but it doesn’t explain/identify that clearly. For example, a 10x15x6 unit can fit a one to two bedroom apartment/home?! Yes/No?! Or is appropriate for a one bedroom apartment? I ended up not using your facility because you couldn’t tell me that and that was vital to knowing if my items could fit. That is a MAIN point of improvement and also it would be nice if you can let staff know what size can fit as noted above. The young lady was professional helpful and kind & I appreciated that.

I would have rated this higher. But I booked my storage a week before my move. Unloaded my stuff to find out my storage room 1018 has a lock on it. My stuff is sitting in the hallway waiting for the lock smith to show up he seems to be busy these days because it been almost 24 hours. Also I questioned why My Im being charged 10x10 rate while my storage is 8x8. I was told the price board was incorrect. It also seem that the website is incorrect too. Bottom line I've been overcharged for a storage room, while my expensive stuff sits in the hallway.

I like the facility in Colorado much better. This one is not az well-lit nor maintained.us the one in Colorado is climate controlled. Also, I oy need a 5x5 but had to take and pay for one two sizes bigger. Also, this one is not as convenient as my other one but just as pri ey. However, we needed to inload our trailer right away.

In-person customer service was excellent. Employees are knowledgeable, courteous, understanding and patient. They appear to be overworked, though. More employees could eliminate the long lines and improve customer service experience. There also doesn’t appear to be anyone answering the phone at this particular location. Again, this is reflective of the lack of staff; not their quality.

Right from the start my experience was atrocious. From a trailer hitch installed upside down, to lost storage reservation, to Outrageous hold times, failure to end my storage lease after I moved out. Miscommunication and inept counter help. I will never use Uhaul again or refer to friends or family.

The person who took care of us did as much as they had to do. Not very customer friendly. I also asked about a mouse problem since there was a big sticky mouse trap in the storage unit I was renting. I was told there wasn’t a problem. The only problem was the sticky mouse trap got stuck to one of my boxes and it cannot be removed no matter how much you pull at it. It seems to me there is a problem or there wouldn’t have been a mouse trap in my storage unit to begin with. One more thing to worry about.

Supervisor was very disrespectful with my wife and when appropriately and respectfully approached about, he had a seemingly "i dont care" attitude and didnt even as much apologize or even try to understand his wrong doing. His only response was "ok" when I explained the situation that I wasn't there for and how criticizing a customer who didn't hear you for legitimate reasons is wrong. He simply walked away to avoid something he was wrong for which is completely unprofessional and he shouldn't be in a position he doesn't deserve with that negative attitude. I'm a 14 and ongoing army vet, I shouldn't have to worry about my wife having that kind of situation while I'm out with my daughter. If I trust you enough to do business with you for over a year with storage and utilize your vehicle services why do I need to worry about her going into your facility and dealing with your employees? Do I need to go in from now on to fend for myself just to do business?

There was only one time during my unit rental that I was two days late on a payment. I honestly had forgotten about it as the due date was over a weekend. I received an email about it and quickly called and made a payment as well as set up for auto pay. The thing that upset me is that in that time (two days...first time late) they had already sent letters to BOTH of my contact people about me not paying. That's when I decided to up my timeline and get moved out before paying anymore. Everything else was great, but that seemed a bit harsh and quick.

My only problem was that the storage room had no light, and yes facility is well lit, but there seem to be a bit of a rodent issue and i had no type of food or any thing that would attract mice rodent or etc...but overall my experience with u haul went well
