U-Haul of Cedar Brook Adding New Showroom with Abutting Property
WINSLOW, N.J. (July 17, 2017) — U-Haul Moving & Storage of Cedar Brook at 59 N. Route 73 has acquired an 11.53-acre property next door at 105 N. Route 73 in order to provide local residents an updated showroom with a greater selection of moving supplies.
“This is an exciting acquisition for us,” U-Haul Company of Southern New Jersey president Paul Kelly said. “We are currently using an old house as our showroom. We need this space in order to be the best U-Haul facility we can be.”
Customers in the Winslow Township have relied on U-Haul Moving & Storage of Cedar Brook to meet their do-it-yourself moving and self-storage needs for three years.
The 9,998-square-foot addition will also allow U-Haul to expand and offer additional self-storage options, professional hitch installation and propane. U-Haul will begin operating out of the facility by August and renovations will continue over the next year.
“This will be a huge success for U-Haul,” Kelly said. “We are eager to provide top-of-the-line services to these neighborhoods.”
Kelly said the expansion project will lead to several new positions at the store, and U-Haul will look to hire locally to promote job growth within the community.
