Shawn Goldrup Named MCP of UHC of Maine
BRUNSWICK, Maine. (Aug. 25, 2017) — Shawn Goldrup has been appointed marketing company president of 731, U-Haul Company of Maine.
U-Haul Area District Vice President Matthew Pepin and Executive Vice President Chuck Hertzler made the announcement.
“I am excited to take on the role of 731 MCP,” Goldrup said. “Over the years of being in this exceptional organization, I have worked for and with many great people from whom I have learned. I will take all the knowledge and use it to help this remarkable team move forward while continuing to focus on excellent customer service. Working with all the labor-saving techniques we have, I am confident that we will be able to help our Team Members and customers.”
Goldrup’s tenure with U-Haul spans 18 years – all of those coming in The Pine Tree State. He served as a Field Relief Manager for the last 12 years, and before that held the titles of customer service representative, area field manager and general manager of U-Haul Moving & Storage of Twin City (731051) in Auburn.
“In the 18 years that Shawn has been with U-Haul, he has shown great leadership skills in each position he has held,” Pepin stated. “Having worked his entire career in the state of Maine, he has the vision needed to move Maine forward. I’m extremely excited to put him in place to lead Team Maine into the future.”
