Rottweiler appointed MCP of UHC of North Shore Chicago

CHICAGO (Oct. 23, 2017) — Rick Rottweiler has been named marketing company president of 758, U-Haul Company of North Shore Chicago.

U-Haul Area District Vice President Ben Cook and Executive Vice President Ron Frank made the announcement.

“I’m excited for the opportunity to use my knowledge and experience to help my team succeed,” Rottweiler said. “Like (U-Haul Chairman) Joe (Shoen) says, ‘Serving current customers well is our best plan to get more customers tomorrow.’ I plan to use this simple guideline to positively impact the day-to-day operations in MCO 758.

“We have a great team in place and I know we are ready to do our part to help make U-Haul the first choice for the customer’s moving and storage needs.”

Rottweiler’s 15-year tenure at U-Haul has included stints as a general manager at four Chicago stores: U-Haul Moving & Storage of Avondale (2014-17); U-Haul Moving & Storage of Portage Park (2010-13); U-Haul Moving & Storage of Lincoln Park (2008-10); and U-Haul Moving & Storage of Up-Town (2007-08).

He began as a customer service representative in 2002 at the Lincoln Park location and was later promoted to field relief manager of 758, a position he held in 2006-07 and again in 2013-14.

“Rick brings a lot of knowledge and skills to the position,” Cook said. “He is a proven leader and I have complete confidence he will be able to lead 758 into the future. I’m looking forward to working with Rick as he enters the next chapter of his career.”
