Kyle Marvin Named ADVP of District 1
EUGENE, Ore. — Kyle Marvin has been promoted to area district vice president of District 1, which encompasses seven U-Haul marketing companies across Oregon and Washington.
U-Haul CEO Joe Shoen and Executive Vice President Jeremy Frank made the announcement. Marvin accepted his new role in late December. As ADVP, Marvin will oversee MCOs 700, 701, 702, 704, 801, 840 and 920.
“I am excited for the opportunity to work with all the hard-hitting, tough-minded Team Members in District 1,” Marvin said. “My hope is to bring the camaraderie established during my time in 700 to the rest of the district.”
Marvin spent the last seven years serving as marketing company president of U-Haul Company of Southern Oregon (700).
Prior to becoming MCP in 2011, Marvin’s U-Haul career featured two stints as a general manager (704057 and 704041) and two stints as the field relief manager of U-Haul Company of Western Oregon (704). He was also an assistant manager and a customer service representative in his first two years with the Company beginning in 2003.
“Kyle has been in the district for a long time, held a variety of jobs, and he’s a known performer,” Frank said. “He brings a lot of energy to the job that will help ensure the success of the district.”
