Jesse Ashdown Named MCP of UHC of Northern Arizona

PHOENIX (Oct. 23, 2018) — Jesse Ashdown has been named marketing company president of UHC of Northern Arizona (Co. 858), a job he has been preparing for since joining U-Haul as a customer service representative in 2001.

Executive Vice President Ron Frank and Area District Vice President Steven Deutsch made the announcement.

“This has always been a long-term goal of mine,” Ashdown noted. “I think everyone wants to move up in the Company and take that next step, and I’m excited for this new challenge.”

Ashdown’s 17-year U-Haul career began at U-Haul at Florida Mall (785065) in Orlando, Fla. He spent most of the next 15 years working in various roles in Florida, including hitch pro, general manager, area field manager and field relief manager. In 2017, he moved to Arizona to serve as FRM for Co. 858, the position he held until his recent promotion to MCP.

“I have orange blood for sure,” he observed. “My dad was with the Company for about 15 years, and my mom, Felicia, is an E-Storage sales representative. My wife, Maya, is a business analyst for the U-Box program as well.”

“Jesse brings 17 years of U-Haul knowledge and experience from several different positions to his new position,” Deutsch added. “I look forward to working with him and using those skills to help build Team 858.”
