U-Haul Grand Opening and Community Celebration in Detroit

U-Haul is excited to be able to showcase our reuse of the Nabisco building which we believe preserves the rich character of the culturally significant area of New Center. Being firmly committed to both adaptive reuse and the city of Detroit, U-Haul is collaborating with Wayne State University to study the social, economic and environmental impact of a project like this, located in a community in need of revitalization.

For U-Haul, the entire project represents the nexus of not only its business objectives, but also its sustainability and social objectives. The U-Haul Moving and Storage of New Center renovation project was featured during the 2013 7th Annual Virtual Analyst and Investor Webcast.
