Growing McDonough: U-Haul Opens Sprawling New Full-Service Store

MCDONOUGH, Ga. (June 13, 2019) — An impressive three-story U-Haul® facility opened on May 17 thanks to the Company’s acquisition of 20 acres at 2055 Avalon Parkway.

U-Haul Moving & Storage of McDonough houses 1,074 interior self-storage rooms, including 730 climate-controlled units. There are also 201 outdoor drive-up self-storage units; 155 covered RV storage spaces with power hook ups; and an RV dump station.

Alongside the 87,558-square-foot self-storage building is a 6,955-square-foot U-Box® warehouse that will hold up to 333 of the popular portable storage containers.
