What’s Your Favorite Story to Tell?

PHOENIX (April 24, 2014) – When was the last time you told a story… fact or fiction, the biggest whopper of all time or a stroll down memory lane? National Tell a Story Day is the day to tell them all. Celebrated throughout North America each year on April 27th, National Tell a Story Day is dedicated to recounting stories of all kinds.

Schools and libraries from coast to coast celebrate this day with special storytelling hours for children and adults. U-Haul encourages you to join in on the fun this year by sharing the educational stories behind U-Haul SuperGraphics (images on the sides of the U-Haul trucks) with family, loved ones and friends.

Stories have a special way of connecting people. Parents tell children stories of their youth, grandparents reminisce with grandchildren about the “good old days” and families and friends like telling embarrassing, funny or heartfelt stories about each other. “Big fish” stories, ghost stories and bedtime stories are told as a way to honor loved ones, remember days gone by, share history of ourselves, family and friends…and even develop speaking skills.

With more than 60 U-Haul SuperGrpahic stories to tell, let us help you start a new tradition by sharing our SuperGrpahic stories with you. Check out some favorites below. Perhaps you can relate…and will have a story of your own to tell.
