Ean Livingood Named MCP for U-Haul Company of NW Pennsylvania

PITTSBURGH, Pa. (Feb. 8, 2016) — Ean Livingood has been elevated to marketing company president of 861, the new U-Haul Company of Northwestern Pennsylvania.

Area District Vice President Frank D’Abarno and executive vice president Chuck Hertzler made the announcement. Livingood assumed his new position on Feb. 5.

Livingood was an effective general manager for the last four years at U-Haul Moving & Storage at Washington Blvd. He began his U-Haul career in 2010 as a customer service representative at U-Haul Moving & Storage of Washington PA. He was finishing up his degree in mathematics and applied mathematics from Indiana University of Pennsylvania at the time. After graduation, Livingood became a hitch pro at the same store.

“I’m excited to just be a part of the U-Haul Company right now,” Livingood said. “I believe our future as a company is bright. I specifically am excited that as a marketing company president I will be able to help U-Haul of Northwestern Pennsylvania grow over the next few years. I want to help establish U-Haul as the brand name for storage. I love being with U-Haul, and I’m going to work very hard to ensure success.”

Livingood noted that 861 has many locations that are entrenched in their communities as reliable service providers. He intends to scour the markets between the established locations to add more dependable U-Haul neighborhood dealers and improve customer convenience.

“The formation of the new Northwestern Pennsylvania marketing company is a result of the hard work by 809 (Pittsburgh) and 811 (Harrisburg) Team Members,” Hertzler said. “I feel Ean is the right person to continue the growth. The customer reviews and the caliber of Team Members at his store are proof of Ean’s leadership skills. The Western Pennsylvania marketing company is built on a foundation of hardworking and honest people. Ean is a great fit for this team.”
