Elijah Mack Named MCP of U-Haul Company of Southern Atlantic Coast

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. (Feb. 16, 2016) — Elijah Mack has been appointed the marketing company president of new Company 878, U-Haul Company of Southern Atlantic Coast.

U-Haul executive vice president Chuck Hertzler and area district vice president Jason Hardin made the announcement last week. Mack started in his new role on Feb. 10.

Prior to his recent promotion, Mack served as the general manager at U-Haul Moving & Storage of Rivers Avenue in North Charleston (S.C.) for the last 12 years. He began his U-Haul career in 1999 as a customer service representative at U-Haul Moving & Storage at King Street in Charleston. Within one year, he was promoted to hitch professional. Mack left the Company for one year but returned in 2004 as a general manager.

“I intend to build and develop a strong team through leadership,” Mack said. “I plan to increase our positive effect on every community. I am excited about being able to motivate such a broad number of people and spread a positive image of U-Haul through many communities.”

“Elijah has great track record of proven success,” Hardin added. “He takes pride in developing Team Members by training them and mentoring them. He always seems to have their best interests at heart. I believe he will continue to build and develop his team moving forward in this new position as MCP.”
