Jorge White Promoted to MCP of UHC of Boston

SOMERVILLE, Mass. (Feb. 22, 2016) — Jorge White has been named the new marketing company president of 837, U-Haul Company of Boston.

White started in his new role on Feb. 19. U-Haul executive vice president Chuck Hertzler and area district vice president Matthew Pepin made the announcement.

Prior to becoming MCP, White was the general manager of U-Haul Moving & Storage at Mass Ave. Boston. White also has served as an area field manager and GM of U-Haul Moving & Storage at Central Square and U-Haul of Route 9 Brookline during his seven-year U-Haul career.

“I was extremely shocked to have been selected for this position and given such a great opportunity,” White said. “I know the challenges this position brings and the number of qualified candidates that I was up against.”

As MCP of 837, White plans to lead his team to more growth by taking exceptional care of existing customers and adding to the U-Haul neighborhood dealer network. White is looking forward to building relationships with his Team Members and dealers.

“I am excited to tackle all the new challenges I will face and I look forward to expanding my relationship with my team,” White said.

“Jorge has worked tirelessly to get to this point in his career and has always been a true asset to Team 837,” Pepin added. “He has lived in the community since a very young age and has always been the go-to person for the families he serves.”
