Brad Pruitt Promoted to MCP of UHC of Charlotte

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (Feb. 26, 2016) — Brad Pruitt has been named marketing company president of 780, U-Haul Company of Charlotte.

Pruitt started his new role on Feb. 23. U-Haul executive vice president Chuck Hertzler and area district vice president Jason Hardin announced the decision.

“I am honored to be selected for this position,” Pruitt said. “I’m very excited to have such a great team of individuals with me.”

Pruitt last served as general manager of U-Haul Moving & Storage at Ashley Road in Charlotte. He started his U-Haul career in 2002 as a customer service representative at U-Haul Moving & Storage of Gastonia, located just west of Charlotte. He also served as assistant general manager at that location and spent time as an area field manager.

Pruitt also has been the GM for U-Haul Moving & Storage of Safe Harbor and U-Haul Moving & Storage at Third Street.

“My goals as MCP are to keep building an already strong team, continue to grow the Company by opening new stores, and to provide excellent customer service through implementing our policies, programs and procedures,” Pruitt said.

“Brad brings with him a lot of knowledge,” Hardin added. “He believes in helping the team grow, develop and become successful. He has a proven track record of promoting growth from within by promoting seven Team Members to management. He will do very well in his new position.”
