Steven Deutsch Appointed ADVP of District 15

LAS VEGAS (March 24, 2016) — Steven Deutsch has a self-proclaimed passion for serving U-Haul and its many valued customers. That passion will be put to use in a new role with Deutsch’s recent appointment as the Area District Vice President of District 15.

The announcement was made this week by AMERCO Chairman and President Edward J. “Joe” Shoen and Executive Vice President Jeremy Frank, who previously filled the District 15 ADVP position. Deutsch began in his new role on March 22.

“I have some pretty big shoes to fill,” Deutsch said. “Jeremy has been a great mentor and has lead this district well over his time as ADVP. I do not plan to fill his shoes, but I do plan to follow in his footsteps. I have a commitment to our Primary Service Objective (PSO) to help each market grow to be able to serve our customers better.”

Deutsch had been serving as marketing company president of 838, U-Haul Company of Las Vegas West. His career has featured stints as general manager for U-Haul Moving & Trailer Hitch Center of Las Vegas and U-Haul Moving & Storage at Nellis Boulevard. He also served as assistant GM at two locations, including U-Haul Moving & Storage at South Las Vegas Boulevard.

“Steven has been a proven leader in District 15,” Frank said. “He was integral at the expansion and split of the Las Vegas market. He has led the district in profits and gross. He did this by continually building a strong team and staying vigilant at providing great customer service in his area.

“I expect Steven will continue to bind the District 15 team together in focusing on the PSO. I am positive that he will fit in well and continue to help the whole team grow both personally and professionally.”

Deutsch added: “Joe says, ‘In the line chain above the GM and AFM must be an informed MCP capable of and committed to exceptional customer service. Then, so on up the chain. I expect this of you. You should expect this of your boss and of me. Don’t accept any less.’”
